I think Lavder would be a cute name for her X3 (Lavder is a short version of Lavender...I couldn't name her lav now could I? (Lav=Toilet to anyone who didn't know XD))

I entered the paddock I had left Lavder so she could adapt to her surroundings. I stared at my new neravontii nervously before taking a sharp intake of breath and making my way over to her. She seemed dis-pleased with one corner of the paddock which was muddy and the surrounding fence caked with mud and thistles slowly creeping over it. I'll have to remember to trip those thistles back.
Lavder's head then suddenly jerked in my direction as she noticed me standing a few feet from her. She looked startled as her body became tense, ready to sprint away if any negative approaches were made...or if I was going to attack. " E-easy girl " I cooed out to her, slowly walking over to her. I had my hands in a small surrender position by my chest, hoping to let her know I was no threat. " I just...wanted to say hi " I nervously said, now standing fairly close to Lavder.
Her expression was fairly easy to read, even if she didn't have eyes. She did not like me...
I offered her a small smile as I pulled some mouse meat from the bag tied to my side. I laid it out on the palm of one of my hands as I presented the meat to her. " Want some...? It's mouse... " I said to her, another small smile on my face as her head inspected the food before letting out a small snort and lowering her head precociously. Next thing I knew (after a moment of hesitation from Lavder) she was eating out of my hand, her mouth careful not to chew my skin. " Good girl! " I cheered happily, feeling like doing a victory dance at the success of her slowly trusting me.
I think thought for a moment before raising my other hand, bringing to close to her head. Suddenly Lavder's head jerked up as she stared at my hand with non-existent eyes. She let out a small hugg as she breathed out before backing away, her head held high as she gave me a look that read 'what do you think YOUR doing?!'.
I sighed as I lowered my hand, looking as my other hand which had a bit of meat left on it and covered in saliva.
" Well...decent bonding moment before I messed it up...huh? " I joked to her as she turned her back to me and trotted away, her human like hands tearing a bit of grass up as she turned her head to snort at me.
I sighed, taking that as an indication to leave. I placed the remaining meat into the bag I had previously removed it from and began heading out of the paddock. Closing and locking the gate, I smiled as I watched Lavder glance in my direction before I headed back into my home.

(Looks like Lavder has a bit more warming up to do with me! Hope I get to actually stroke her head eventually XD)

It had been a few days after having Lavder and of visiting her, giving her treats and just being friendly. She was slowly warming up to me. Today I went over to her paddock with my usual bag tied around my waist (the one that contains mouse meat) and in both hands I had a saddle. I planned on putting Lavder's saddle on her today...if she didn't freak out.
I sighed as I came to her paddock's fence. Putting the saddle on the floor for a bit so I could unlock and open the gate, I entered before closing and locking the gate again.
I spotted Lavder by the water troth, happy snorting come from her as she drank the water contained in the long, metal cylinder.
I smiled as I let out a whistle, letting her know I was coming so I didn't freak the poor girl out.
" Hey Lavder ~ " I sang happily to her as she lifted up her head and eyed the saddle with curiosity. " This is a saddle " I explained to her, feeling like she could understand English fluently. " I'm going to put it on you...just don't freak out...'kay? "
At that, I neared her until I was right next to her side, gently stroking her back. Lavder watched me the whole time like she usually did. The girl was so shy she felt nervous not watching what others were doing around her...made me want to laugh sometimes or just give her a huge hug for being so adorable!
I smiled at Lavder before lifting the saddle up and slowly placing it on her back. Lavder stamped one of her front feet in annoyance as she began to move her head over to the saddle in an attempt to pull it off. I lifted a hand and gently pushed her head back. " No Lavder " I said sternly, as her head attempted to reach the saddle again. " No! " I said again, more sternness in my voice.
Eventually (after a few minutes) , Lavder learnt I did not want her pulling off the saddle. I watched her curiously with an eyebrow raised, waiting to see if she would do anything else before I sighed and patted her side. " Alright, this might feel a bit weird at first...but you'll get used to it " I said, offering her a small smile as I began strapping the saddle onto her.
Lavder looked a little startled once I was done. She began running around in attempts to get the saddle off before using her head and tail to pull it off. Rushing after her, I pushed her head and tail away from the saddle before quickly taking it off in attempts to calm her down.
" It's ok! It's ok! " I repeated to the stressed neravontii. " Look! It's off now! "
Lavder tossed her head back as she glared at me with her non-existant eyes. Wow, stroll down memory lane to when I tried stroking her head, I thought sarcasticly before nervously chuckiling at her. " Guess I'll have to slowly introduce you to a saddle then? " I said to her, giving her a small smile before putting the saddle on the floor and opening up my brown, cloth bag. I pulled out some mouse meat and offered it to her. " Here you go " I said to her as she stared at me for a bit before accepting the food and begining to eat it.
I sighed as I waited for her to finish. Once she was finished I wiped the saliva on my hand off onto my jeans before picking up the saddle and turning.
" See you later Lavder! " I called over my shoulder as I left her paddock and placed the saddle back into the shed from where I got it. I then left the shed before turning to my home, thinking of making hot chocolate for myself once I washed my hands.

A few more days had passed and slowly I had introduced Lavder to her saddle before finally she was completely used to the process of me coming into her paddock with the saddle and then strapping it onto her. I even began making sure she was OK with weight by pushing down on the top of the saddle, I usually only receive blank looks from her which I guessed was her wondering why I was pushing down. I also began introducing her to a halter which at times I would lead her around the paddock with to get her used to it being gently pulled to the feeling of me telling her to stop. I sighed as I brushed my blonde hair as I entered the shed were I kept the equipment I needed for neravontii racing or other events, but so far I only had two saddles and halters in there for Tribe and Lavder.
I picked up Lavder's saddle and drapped her halter over the same arm, exitting the shed as I closed the door behind me.
I then walked over to Lavder's paddock, grinning as I spotted Lavder trotting around with her head held high like she was the most fabulous thing to exist.
I neared her paddock gate and whistled like I usually do to let her know I was coming in. Instantly she stopped trotting and stared at me with her non-existant eyes before snorting and heading in my direction, thinking she was going to get some mouse meat.
Resting her saddle on one of my shoulders while one hand also held it, I opened the gate with one hand like a pro before entering and locking it. Lavder had finally reached me and stared at me with a begging face, clearly wanting to munch on some mouse meat.
" I know what you want " I said to her with a small smile. " But your not getting it yet! You have to be a very good girl if you want...this! " at saying 'this' I opened my brown bag and instead of pulling out mouse meat, I pulled out a half a rabbit. Instantly Lavder perked up at the sight of the rabbit, her head slowly inching forward in hopes of snatching it from me. Quickly I put the rabbit half back into my bag before she could snatch. " For being shy your really cheecky aren't you? " I joked to her, smiling.
Lavder snorted at me angry when I put the rabbit away before looking at me bored, waiting to see what she had to do to get her prize.
I walked round her side, her head following my every movements, as I dropped her halter on the floor and brought her saddle onto her back. Her tail flicked a bit as she noticed what I was doing. Smiling to myself, I strapped the saddle onto her back before picking up her halter and putting it in the correct position on her large body. " There! " I happily said as Lavder waited patiently for the rabbit. " Now one more thing... "
I placed by hands onto her back and pushed down, her reaction was blank as she just watched. I then began raising myself up and she let out a quick snort, surprised I was applying more weight then usual. Grinning to myself, I quickly swap my left leg over her side so I was sitting on her. Lavder instantly let out a surprised sound (I don't know how to explain it) as she then began running around, attempting to get me off her back. " C-calm d-do-down! " I stuttered out as I grabbed her reins and pulled the halter, attempting to make her stop. After several tries (and me almost slipping off at one point) Lavder stopped, panting a bit as she glared at me with non-existant eyes. " O-okay... " I nervously said, unsettled at Lavder's angry, annoyed look. " I think...we should do this...s-slowy...like with the saddle... "
In reply Lavder snorted angrily at me as I climbed off her back, her look now happy I was off but still annoyed I went on her back in the first place.
" First ride... " I muttered to myself as I pulled out the rabbit half and offered it to Lavder. " More like Best-Way-To-Make-Your-Neravontii-Hate-You "
Once Lavder was finished eating I took her saddle and halter off her as I left her paddock. Un-locking the gate and opening it before leaving, closing the gate and locking it. I placed her saddle and halter back into the shed before heading off to check of Tribe, sighing on my way as my butt began to hurt from Lavder's insane running around.
" Better luck tomorrow...hopefully... "

(Woo! Fully trained by baby <3 Now to work on Tribe! He's going to be fun to write for XD)
