General Info

Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.

I'll be doing a "12 Days of Xmas" Chrysaora Adoption Advent. As it sounds, I'll be making 12 pre-designed Chrysaora all wrapped and ready to go to a new home. Each Chrysaora will come out one a day, starting on the 25th. Each will have a short contest (no more than a few sentences) and a 24hr competition. There will be no extensions of extras allowed, and you're only allowed to win once, so choose wisely. If you win a Chrysaora and decide you don't like it, you may gift it to another competitor in the competition with my approval, but you will not be allowed to win another. The only catch is that you won't see your chrysaora until after you win it, so if you're ok with surprises then this is the event for you.

Favorite Season/Why?: Spring has always been his absolute favourite season of the year. He just can't do anything else but love the colour it brings to the world, for him it's like watching the world rebirth and come into colour once more after the cold and dead winter. He have always loved to see the world filled with colour and he also have a secret love for flowers and practically every plant with strong or bright colours to them. He especially loves having flowers stuck to his mane and decorating the world around him with them by just simply picking them up with his mouth and placing them somewhere they weren't to begin with. This little hobby of his is mostly kept a secret though since he sees it as his personal thing and also are a little afraid of what other might think.

Even though the summer is pretty equal in colour he greatly prefers spring due to him not being so fond of the strong warmth that usually comes with the summer. Since he isn't that resistant to the heat and mostly ends up getting overheated during the time of summer. During the spring there's still some warmth but it's not so much that it makes him uncomfortable.

Her favorite season is winter, hands down, it always wins. Winter may be cold and harsh but still she enjoys it. The feel of snow under her hooves is unlike any other she has ever experienced. It's the of the year when she feels most alive as it were. Sure the cold bites at whatever it can whenever she's not hidden away in her shelter of an abandoned barn, that doesn't really matter to her. It's the season that lets the wildlife and plant-life alike rest and recover. She watches carefully, seeing the changes to the creatures that do not slumber through the cold, seeing how they change fascinates her and there isn't much else around to enjoy.

Ice and snow are so different from the rain and dry/wet heat that most of the year has. Winter is time of peace and quiet. Blankets of snow cover the land from time to time and when things look so different. The world seems like something entirely different.

I'm sorry I took so long to reply to this, but thank you so much for putting me as the winner of this guy. However since I'm not entirely feeling it for this guy and don't want to end up neglecting him as a character I would love to be given the permission to give the opportunity to one of the others that entered for him to take him on instead.

She loves both autumn and winter. Autumn is beautiful with all of it's colored leaves but the winter is just magical! It's hard for her to choose which is better so she just sticks with both of them because both are equally beautiful.
