First Saddle



First Ride

Dear Diary,
Wow! Today I rode Nera for the first time! Well, I tried. The first time she allowed me to mount, she had blown up her belly, so the saddle was way too loose. Of course, the whole saddle turned upside down and I fell down, not very majestic, but oh well...
On second try, it worked though. At first, Nera was incredibly irritated and faked biting me, but I didn't back down. Instead, I took the reigns and gently nudged her into walk. It didn't take much time until she did whatever I wanted, and even somewhat relaxed while we took a sprint along the field.
It had been a great day, and she had really deserved some fat chicken after that
