There's a large oak tree in the forest that she loves to go to. When Bambi found it, rain and wind had already eroded most of the dirt beside it away, creating a small scoop. She dug with her small hooves until there was enough room for her fragile body underneath the tree, and this is where she flees to when she is afraid. The small animals that live in the tree have accepted her, and she knows she will always find friends here.

Her secret place is: an isolated small lake with a small waterfall trickling into the pond, also known as the Emerald Pool. This pool is located in the Zion National Park, located in Utah, up one of the many red rock canyons in the park. She enjoys going up the canyon to this isolated pool and enjoying the calm silence of the area. Zion will often sit atop of the large boulders on the left or right sides of the pool, slowly moving her tail tip across the surface of the pool.

When she is having a hard day, and cant escape from the stress, she pictures in her mind the most beautiful scene that she could imagine, and because she has a photographic memory, she stitches together all of her favorite places in her mind like a magnificent quilt. she pictures herself on the peak of the mountain with the beautiful view, then she imagines her favorite cherry blossom tree from the valley full in bloom, then she pictures her mother and father with her, saying they love her, then she imagines sunny skies high up above, and quotes this poem that gives her strength to move on:
