A lot of the negatives…
Despite being an introvert, Spoke is maybe one of the most hyperactive belldandy's you could meet. He has a lot of trouble staying focused, and because of that he frustratingly finds many things slow and his impatience can annoy others. He is also quite apathetic, sometimes to the point of being nihilistic, but he understands the point of morals and emotions – and its benefits; he is very strongly attached to his friends whom he relies heavily on to provide his moral compass.
Perhaps occasional positives?
You often hear of a Belldee being overly loyal, to the point of being overbearingly attached at all hours. Spoke is one of these Belldandys but with an opposite effect; to those he is close to, Spoke is focused to their every word and will do whatever they say – whether it is to leave them alone forever, to giving them some money. However he chooses his friends wisely, and has a tendency to choose the people who help him out the most of their own accord – only once he has developed a bond will he do anything for them. He refuses to be friends with anyone who would take without giving to him, even if the one whom takes needs it dearly; unless one of his friends are there to point him onto the good path.
But positives and negatives are just words; how can we be sure of their existence?
But Spoke is far from evil, if that is what you are getting; he is just an extremophile in terms of friendship, of which he is firmly decided there are three groups – The ones that take, the ones that are and the ones that help. He tolerates the first group, is interested in the second and loves the third. There is no in-between. He disagrees with violence as he agrees with the phrase ‘an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind’ however; he also believes ‘the ends justify the means’ – as long as you exclude violence from the means.
We cannot. But we can be certain of our emotions.
Also, Spoke is far from sour; he is just as Belldee as any other. He is fond of singing, and has a decent voice. An even better skill is how he is able to use his hyperactive mind to think up things, plans, ideas in a flash – though they aren’t always the best ideas. He is fond of cities and bustling roads and people – yes, he is an introvert, but what better way to miss attention than being one of many? Belldandys are more likely to speak to someone when they are alone with them to stop their feelings of awkwardness coming from the silence between them.
We can be certain of our friends.
Despite his hard exterior, his friends will stick by him for his other qualities; his loyalty, dedication, large heart –when he opens it- and his occasional adorkableness. You can’t be negative all the time.
