What is a Long-tailed Fennex?

A Fennex is a rare subspecies of marsupial with long legs, ears and fluffy tails that are used to blanket themselves, normally found in warm but not hot climates inhabitting large, open plains. They come in varied natural colours, normally with some form of stripes on their bodies for camoflauge, and otherwise simply coat patterns.

Remus has always dreamed of flying, even as a baby, he loved to watch the birds soaring effortlessly through the blue yonder. He even believed that he, too, could fly, and this resulted in a few failed attempts, with bad consequences.
Remus soon realized that it was impossible – no other Fennexs could fly, much less him. But he still didn’t give up his dreams.
Since the day that this realization came to him, he had a different idea – to be as high up as them, perhaps not the same level of freedom, but there he could watch them in harmony. And so he found a tree. That, of course, was not his goal, it was only the beginning, but where he lived, it could be hard to find them at times.
Remus found all the bits and pieces of junk lying about (for example, he salvaged some metal from a crashed car and some wood from a broken crate.) and started to do what no others had done, and built. His aim was to build some sort of platform in the tree, where not only would he be safe from some predators, but he’d also be able to be just as high as the birds themselves.
It didn’t work out, in fact, it ended up collapsing in on itself, but he didn’t lose hope. His goal was to recover from his injuries before continuing... Whenever that was going to be.

Although then he was young and reckless (he still is, but to a lesser extent.), Remus still has the same courageous and adventurous spirit as before. He came to a point where he finally accepted that he could not build anything building, of any kind, and instead sticks to bird watching and wearing his pair of aviator goggles he found on a human body in the crashed car, as well as a bandanna. This isn’t to say he lost all hope, of course, but now he has more realistic and achievable dreams.

Jallen is very calm and serene, he likes to do things that are relaxing and quiet. He is a very relaxed and go with the flow kind of guy, he's an optimist always looking at the bright side of things no matter what, so he's just about always happy. He's not very easily impressed by things or people, he is very funny and often tells jokes, especially when things get bad or awkward he is always the one to defuse the situation and make everyone crack up.
