Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

A New Treat?
Tonight was my first Halloween, so far in my life, my parents never let a young todd like me even step out of the house on this night, something about getting hurt or taken away. Oh! i'm Dougal, Dougal Grimalkin. I recently moved here to Smoothvil from Chicktopia, you know, the city a few blocks away from Eldemore! Well anyways, Its Halloween and I really wanted to go this year, so I begged my parents to let me go, finally (after like... twelve-hundred tries) the said yes, but I needed a costume. I didn't know what kind of costumes I could go for, so I decided something pretty close to what I look like already, a black cat. It was really fun to make my new costume with my parents, we got fancy whiskers, and we wet down my tail to make it less fluffy, we also got me a cape! It was pretty cool looking altogether, but it was missing something... after looking over my costume again I realize cats normally have collars, I beg to my parents again, and they agree (a bit faster this time) to get me a collar suitable for a black cat on Halloween.

We started to trick or treat a little before the sun went down, it was a bit scary at first and it felt really awkward to get candy from strangers, especially when you're told not to in school, but a lot of people comment they liked my costume so I enjoyed it. other kids dressed up too, I saw a fairy, a cow boy, a witch, but the clown seemed to scare me a little.... after I got a bunch of candy I turned to my parents and asked "how long does this go on?" they responded with a simple "all night!"
my eyes went wide and I looked at my paws "I can't go all night!" they smiled at my response, "are you getting tired?" my mother asked, I nodded and looked back up "how about we go in the haunted house first, then we can start heading home" my father imputed, I nod happily as I follow them to the haunted house, whatever that is.

The haunted house was really creepy on the outside, there was mist from the windows, and blood on the front door... I gave me shivers, it made me not want to go in... But my parents shoved me on, telling me it wasn't scary, telling me it was alright and fun! It wasn't very fun at all. As I walked into the front door slowly, my parents trailing on behind me I look around, head low and ears flat, it was creepy in here, flashing lights, skulls, blood, I think I saw something move in the corner of the room over there. I stepped through the next doorway, another fox was chained up to a wall, crying to be let go! I look to my mom, she mouthed "its fake, she's fine" before we continued. a ghost room was next, a creepy grim-reaper stood in a coffin, it startled me when he moved but it wasn't the worst.... the worst was the next room.

Stepping though the doorway once more my eyes widen as I see a creepy clown standing right in front of me, a bloodied hatchet in his hand as he stands over a girl cowering in a ball. "n-no..." I mutter, stepping backwards and running into my father, the clown turns to us "hey kids! want to play?" the man asks, an evil grin on his face as he stepped towards us "let me-... let me out!" I start to say, my tail low as I cower, but he continued stepping towards us, I start to cry, a wail coming up from my throat "leave me alone!!" I yelp, sitting and crying. the clown started to freak "kid! hey kid im just like you!" he tried to fix what he had done, taking off his clown mask "see?" he asked as I looked at him, my eyes wide with confusion and fear...

after a bunch of candy and apologies and comforts, I finally finished the haunted house... i'm not going trick or treating next year....

Just a reminder, if you're all going to do a story for your extra, remember this is a WILD species. On their planet there are no cities, towns, humans, cars, ect. Delta Velorum has never been inhabited by humans nor seen any of their technology before.
