Do you expect anything fancy for Cari's birthday? Then you're all wrong. As easy going as she is, so is this and any other birthday of hers. She gets a warm 'Good morning' and loving nuzzle on the forelock by her herd as usually then a soft nicker followes with the gentle words, "Happy birthday, Cari.". The mare doesn't want any big celebration or a great present for such a simple event. That just wouldn't be her. Being a wme who knows what she wants, the day passes by as easily as a butterfly fluttering in a breeze. They daily happenings taking place as always, despite being her birthday. There are only a few differences besides that. The herd heads to the freshest and greenest meadow around, playfully chasing each other up and down hills as far as the landscape reaches in a swift yet relieving gallop, showing affection and gentleness more than ever, fulfilling any wish the wme would have and yet, she never has any. It wasn't like they neve did that besides on her birthday. Oh and how many times they have tried to push her to make a wish. More than they could count - countless times. And never once, Cari was willing to let one pass her lips yet alone speak one out. The female has anything she needs and would wish for, so why wanting more? After enjoying the day with her herd, friends came over to congratulate her as well. All together took a walk to the large river, Cari's favorite place. There, they play in the clear water, releasing neighs of joy and amusement, happily splashing into the water with their hooves. Laughing out loud, the wmes make their way out of the river and dry themselves in the warm sun, shining high above their heads down on their backs. As some time passes, Cari's friends say the have something for her and bring back a birthday hat and a balloon. The mare turns down the present right away, she does so with each one she doesn't see as useful or too worthy for a mere event like this. Yet, everybody convinces her to wear it. Unwillingly and first looking almost grumpy like, with harks pulled back, Cari brightens up as they burst out of laughter at her sight. No, she doesn't get mad or angry, in fact, she has to smile and giggle along, playfully racing around with her new accessories for the rest of the day.
