Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!
This crazy and disheveled looking adopt is based off of (you guessed it!) Beetlejuice, a Halloween movie that happens to be a favorite of mine. And like his namesake, this stallion is quite the troublemaker with more personality then he knows what to do with! This boy should only go to a home where his owner can keep up with his frequent antics. To win him I want you to fill out the form below and pay special attention to the section asking you where this guy is headed in all his travel gear, and the one asking you about why his mane and tail are in their current state of condition.
You may edit the form as you see fit, however all the original questions must receive answers. Answering one or multiple of the questions in the form of a story is also acceptable, just don't write a whole novel please ^^;

He's Headed: Where is Beetle Headed? To his next competition, of course! But, he's been a bit of trouble. He's a great horse, but his owners have not prepared themselves for what goes on behind the scenes..
6:27 am - The trailer
'Pass me the hoof oil. Quick.'
It had been hard for Ben to keep Beetle still. He skittered and scuttled around, never staying still. It was impossible to keep him calm. Ben kept a tight grip on the rope as the horse pivoted from side to side, spinning on the forehand. He tied the horse up to the fence multiple times, but the mischievous horse always succeeded in untying himself. Mel quickly handed him a small black pot of hoof oil, taking hold of beetle as Ben tried to apply the oil to the constantly moving hooves. Beetle only ever did this on purpose - he knew they were having a hard time. After some struggling, Ben managed to finish his job. The horse looks as neat as they could get it, his wiry mane in rosettes as tight as they could get. His rug and boots were chucked on quickly as he was led to the trailer. Beetle followed Ben calmly and Ben was in shock. He was doing so well! But he shouldn't have jumped the gun. Ben stopped him at the opening of the trailer, unclipping his leadrope so he could walk in with his halter on. With some encouragement from a pull on the halter, Beetle had all four feet in the trailer. Alas, he spun around, as fast as lightning, scrambling out of the trailer and cantering over to the paddock, whinnying gleefully. If he was human, he would be laughing.
8:54 am - Finally
Beetle emerged from the trailer looking like he had been caught in a hurricane. Ben and Mel worked as fast as they could to get him looking up to scratch, putting his saddle on quickly and doing his girth up. They slipped his bridle on. They would be late if they didn't hurry. Mel gripped Beetle's reins tightly not wanting anything bad to happen again as Ben got ready to ride. He put his foot in the stirrup but Mel stopped him quickly, seeing that Beetle had blown his stomach out again and the girth was loose enough to fit a hand in between. Ben quickly did his girth again, mounting the noble sneaky steed.
9:15 am - The Ring
Beetle stepped into the ring, changing into a totally different horse. He performed beautifully, not wanting to damage his reputation in the ring. Meanwhile, Aria, owner of Willow Wood Stables was closely observing the thoroughbred's clear round.
10:18 am - New Horizons
The ribbon was awarded, and Beetle did look rather handsome in it. Ben was proud of him, but knew he had made a commitment when he had decided to sell him. Aria was already two steps ahead. She walked over to Ben and Beetle, knowing she needed to buy that horse.
'I heard you were selling this horse.' Aria stroked the dapple grey's neck, instantly liking him.
'Yes-' Ben was stopped as Beetle tore away from his grip, this time caught in the nick of time by Mel.
'I have a group of competition horses, Willow Wood Thoroughbreds - I'd love for him to be part of this.' Aria liked this horse. She liked his cheeky personality and his mischievous ways. She knew he was a handful, but she also knew that a horse like him had a great future. She knew he would get the gold every time, and she loved a challenge. 'If you can make me a deal, I can buy him now.'
Ben nodded, looking at Beetle once more. Beetle was one of his newer horses, and he knew he would never fit in. Beetle has a bright future ahead of him. All he needs is time.
Reason For Messy Short Hair: Well, that's a chapter Ben doesn't want to re-visit. It was an accident, he swears. He needed to cut the horse's messy mane, and trim it out, but due to Beetle moving way too much, it came out looking quite messy. The reason it's short is a tiny bit more reasonable. Beetle is a competition horse, so it just seemed like a good idea to cut his mane and tail short, to prevent the mane from getting in the rider's face, or for the tail to go absolutely everywhere. It also cuts back on the time spent brushing out all the tangles every morning!
Art I have lost my tablet pen, but when I find it I will definitely draw him, no matter who wins.
