CWHR: The Necromancer

Postby SerenWish » Fri Oct 10, 2014 12:42 pm

This lady is based off of a necromancer's steed! She is fitted with black tack, a cape, a sprig of deadly nightshade, and some bells to announce her presence to those who have passed on. She will eventually have a staff, which you will design!

(May release a second horse on these lines, later).

Design her staff: Nephthys' staff is made of one hundred year old swamp grown cypress tree. The base of the staff covered with ornate carvings of bones. This continues until six feet and then, jagged egeds ofe cypress star to form, a circle around what seems to be a dark purple, green haze and in the middle of that is a tarot card. The card is fadded and hard to read, that is until she comes to you wanting to take you with her, then you can clearly see it. The tarot card transformed. It shows you death Link to picture.

    Poem:
A hooded figure reaps my dreams
Awaiting for when I shall fall
I do know he is coming for me
I don't know when he will come
When he shall rap and tap on my door
    I will not fight
    I will go without sound
For I know my time.is up
I have no regrets to last
    Only a ever lasting warning
    Do not answer the door
When a hooded stranger raps and taps
Reason For Her Name: When I first here the word necromancer, I think voodoo, then when I hear that I think of the Scooby doo movie where they go to new Orleans with zombies. So that is reason I picked Enchanting The Graves. Also having to do with the fact that necromancer are known for fiddling with the dead and souls.

Show Name: Raising the Dead
Barn Name: Hecate (Ancient greek goddess, one of the things she was known for was necromancy.)
Gender: Mare
Breed: Thoroughbred X Friesian (Added F for the mane)
Height: 15.3 hands
Age: 8 years
Color: Seal Brown
Markings: N/A
Genes: E/e, At/a
Design her staff: Hecate's staff is made of gleaming, near black ebony tree wood. It is slightly longer than one of her forelegs and about as thick as an average persons forearm. The handle is studded with deep blue sapphires. The end curves up into four spikes that each meets a larger ammolite. Under the ammolite there is a slight indent in the end of the staff, in it blue flame burns. The bottom end has a narrow and semi-short sapphire spear on it. In between the gemstones there is glowing blue runes carved into the sides. A sprig of deadly nightshade, her favourite flower, dangles from a strap near the top.Image
Name a famous tomb/cemetery, and show me a picture: The Lycian Tombs, carved into a rock face in Turkey. I think they look pretty cool. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/05/ ... 34x391.jpg

Extras

Personality: No one can ever quite tell what Hecate is thinking. She has a stoic way about her no matter what is going on around her. Her habit of suddenly up and leaving, even when someone is in a conversation with her, bothers many. In her friends times of need she always seems to be there by their side. Any horse who is willing to accept Hecate's strange nature finds them self with a loyal and devoted friend. Horses have to work hard to accept Hecate as she does not have a particularly inviting attitude. If someone does something wrong, she won' gently reprimand them or ignore it, she out write states whatever they did wrong.

Likes Cemeteries, nightshade flowers, night, dramatic music, swimming and cold days.

Dislikes Morning, dawn, horses who think they know SO much, flirty obnoxious stallions and being in large crowds.

Design her staff: Nightshade's staff is made of silver with a sphere at the bottom on top that is a ring then, a long pole with widens slightly as it goes up. At the top is a reddish opaque crystal in a sphere shape with a ring of way looks like a braided metal (also silver) that cover up 1/4 of the sphere crystal.

Show Name: Through No Fault Of Their Own
Barn Name: Fault
Gender: Mare
Breed: Quarter horse (27%) Morgan (27%) Tennessee Walker (20%) Bashkir Curly (15)%) Friesian (6%) Thoroughbred (5%)
Height: 15.3 hands
Age: 7
Color: Seal Brown
Markings: N/A
Genes: E/e, At/a
Design her staff: Fault's staff is of light birch wood, in perfect contrast to her dark coat. There is an intricate carving, extremely complex at the bottom, and fading to being bare at the top. The pattern is of a flickering flame, as if the staff was burning. The carving is black, even darker than her coat. The straight rod of the staff is thick, maybe the equivalent of six inches in diameter. It raises to halfway up Fault's shoulder, whereupon it is adorned with a delicate white metal cage, in which a flaming coal rests. The seven strips of metal making up the cage blossom from the top of the staff rod and curve apart, then meeting at the top and curving outward. If you were to look at it from the top it would look like a flower. The cage is just big enough to fit the coal in it's widest point, so not to burn the wood. the flames are just tall enough to flick and inch or two out of the cage, signifying Fault's barely contained freedom.
Name a famous tomb/cemetary, and show me a picture: The Great Pyramid of Giza: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt ... =0&ndsp=15
Personality: Fault's personality is... interesting. It fluctuates, influenced by anything, the weather, the horses she surrounds herself with, the things she does. She could be flirting with you one day, and the next be ignoring you. Fault can be a very hard horse to be around, and rarely lets anyone ride her, much less be her friend. If you do win her heart, though, she will be unwaveringly loyal. Even if her personality is varying, Fault seems to be more of a pessimist, looking at the glass as half empty. She is a confusing mare, but she could become an interesting puzzle for anyone willing to be her friend.

Design her staff:Wickeds staffis pretty simple. It is sanded down to be very smooth and straight with none of the usual branch nobs sticking out. The main piece of wood used for the staff base was dark red cherry wood. The small piece and longer piece of wood attach to the cherry wood staff is the same wood, just lighter. Its more of a blood red color. On the larger of the two, silvery runes are carved into the woodwork. They almost seem to glow with some abnormal power and spell out "The Bringer of Power,"in Short Twig Runic. As the 65 inch long staff goes up, the thickness gets to be about an inch wider. The staffs top part changes from smooth wood to mangled root and creates a sort of oval shaped cage. This root prison captured a powerful crystal that was kept by Wickeds father and was passed down to her when she was 2. It holds all the paranormal power she is known for. This gem creates a sort of red, glittering mist that curls around the staff when its being used.
The trinkets on the staff are a hawk feather, a pouch of stone runes, and a simple leather tie.

Name a famous tomb/cemetery, and show me a picture: The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
