This mare is based on a bat. It is awful because I made it with my mouse. I got lazy and didnt want to plug in my tablet and restart my computer. -is so lazy-

I hope this is the only 'rare gened' horse I will make.

Personality: Prophecy has an interesting personality, her moods seeming to fluctuate with the weather. Some days she is perky and funny, and others she is grouchy and angry. She is always stubborn and competitive, and is normally kind of secluded. You can never predict what she will say to you, and her feelings to you one day has no effect on how Prophecy will act the next. Well, almost no effect. If she has strong feelings for someone, good or bad, you can count on a singular reaction.
Short Story: Prophecy doesn't remember the event very well, but her mother told her that mere minutes after she was born, she was attacked. No, it wash't a brutal, physical attack, but rather, a bat swooped down and swarmed her head. As a foal, it obviously would have been very frightening. Her owners were very superstitious and considered the bat to be a bad omen, giving Prophecy her name. She was first sold to a family that just wanted a horse to say they had a horse, and kept her in an old, neglected, bat infested barn. The family would awake each night to Prophecy's screams, and she was quickly sold. Since then she has changed homes no less than 8 times, and now is at Cottonwood. She did and does not remember the event, but certainly is still frightened by bats. She has had dreams of ever growing ferocity since the attack, mostly involving swarms of bats suffocating her, causing her to wake with shivers of fright tingling on her odd white marks. As of now, a bat sends her flying to the other side of the field, but it could get better or worse as she changes homes. Hopefully this will be her final home, and the one where her fear of bats is broken.

Personality: Frightful earned her name for her sometimes frightening personality. She must be respected by the rider or she will snap. With a good, gentle and smart rider she is a great ride who wows the judges at any show. She has to get things HER way though or a massive temper tantrum ensues. If her water is empty she will not wait for it to be refilled like the other horses, she will kick the fence, whinny her head off and gallop about until some one fills it. She is a brave and independent mare who is actually admire for these traits by many of the riders at Night Thorn Stables, so long as you give her what she needs of course
Short Story:
Night Thorn Ranch was all halloweened up, pumpkins and creepy halloween decor were everywhere. It was the night before halloween and Nyra was just finishing up, she was putting up the final edition, a large fake bat with glowing red eyes and huge fangs. She was putting it up hanging from the mares large shed, as she worked to tie it on, Frightful saw her. The brave and curious mare trotted over and immediately nudged the ladder. Nyra rocked, grabbing onto the barn for support. The bat rocked and then fell. It landed right on Frightful's back, now Frightful wasn't scared of much but when the heavy thing smacked down on her back she jumped. When she looked back and saw the glowing red eyes and fangs she flipped out. Frightful went off bucking and jumping about the paddock, her running only caused the tassels hanging from the bat to wrap about her. Frightful thought it was going to eat her, Nyra couldn't catch her or even get near her. Finally Frightful stopped for a just a moment in her exhaustion, Nyra lunged and grabbed the bat, as Frightful ran off, the tassel unwrapped from her legs and body. Nyra looked up from the ground and saw Frightful take of into the shed. To this day the second Frightful sees a bat she bolts into cover, her eyes warily watching the flying creatures.

Personality: Bat is anyone's calm natured horse. She's gentle and very calm unless she sees a bat. Ironically this mare is afraid of them and it sets her off whenever she sees one flying low. She will shy away and tug her rider's reins to warn them to take her away from the area the bat is in so she won't be distracted and timid around it. Other than having that timid and shy moment Bat is very quiet. She won't kick, rear, nip, or bite. She tries her best to be good for her riders and owners. Lastly, as well she is quite a trickster. She does like to trick her rider which has involved taking them on the wrong trails, trot off when her rider is talking to someone and Bat isn't tied to anything, and her most favorite one is taking her rider's things and hiding everything somewhere in the stable.
Short Story:
Bat was only about a year old when the incident happened with a bat. No one ever saw it coming and it scarred this poor mare ever since. October 31st, Halloween night, at 7:29pm, Bat was happily playing around with her friends out in the pasture. Bat was just having fun, playing around and nipping at her friends' hooves before her owner, Aspen, at the time who was eleven, was going to dress her up in her costume to trick-or-treat. Aspen had bought a cute little pumpkin costume to fit Bat and pretty her up with some other little decorations. It was around 8pm when Bat was fully dressed in her pumpkin costume with Aspen dressed in her own phantom costume. Aspen had a few of her friends along with Bat's friends as well come along with them to go to their neighbor's homes to receive candy and at times little toys. Bat would frolic around beside her owner as she curiously looked around at her surroundings. There was one house though that no one wanted to go too. It was spooky and old and wasn't worth visiting. Aspen, her friends, and the yearlings thought otherwise...

Aspen had tugged her small group towards the spooky house, Bat at her heels. The yearling stopped though when she heard a loud shriek come from one of the large oak trees in the yard. She jumped about a foot in the air, her little ears flattening against her head sharply. Aspen soothed her young horse carefully before continuing curiously walking around the abandoned home. Another shriek erupted in the air and a shape flew into the sky, sending Bat into a full out panic mode. She screeched in horror and bucked around when the flying object, a bat, swooped down and started chasing her. The yearling took off in a full out gallop as the bat kept nipping and shrieking at the young horse. Aspen went after her along with all of her friends where little Bat was going. The scary bat ended up chasing the mare into the small swamp in the neighborhood. Not only was Bat scared out of her wits but she was embarrassed as well from dirtying herself and making a fool of herself that night. She's gotten over the fear a lot but still won't tolerate being in an area where a bat is. Sadly, no one thinks she'll ever befriend such a little creature.

If your riding, Midna will buck crazily and gallop home. Other than that Midna is a loud attention seeker. Seriously, her neigh will pierce your ears! Its louder than a beagles bark. And beagles are vey loud. Last but not least, Midna is a total sweetheart. She loves her rider and is very obedient other than her fear of bats. Don't judge a mare by her quirks.

Personality: Crunch is adventurous. Meaning that she likes to do things and go places. Her favorite thing is to traverse down trails in the moonlight. She is athletic, and can do everything fast, and furiously. She is relaxed, except around bats, of course. She is seraphic, and is like that every day. Crunch is Optimistic and open. She is able to listen to what you say, most of the time. But, Crunch is delicate, and can’t handle much. She couldn’t be able to take much, and is very anxious. She needs to keep moving, and stay active.
Short Story: Crunch wandered down a trail in the moonlight, eyes scanning the undergrowth. She was scared of nothing, nothing could catch her off guard. Crunch wasn’t looking where she was going, and her hoof hit a rock, she stumbled a little. As she was getting up, a dead fern brushed her leg with crumbling leaves, and spooked her.

Now she was becoming a little afraid. A cloud covered the moon, and she couldn’t see anything. Crunch looked around, trying to make something out of her pitiful situation. Her eyes traveled up, and the moon caught her brown eyes. It was soaked in blood, or so it seemed. It was Halloween.

Crunch spun around, and vaulted herself up the trail. Something swiped at her eyes, and she shook her head. It fell to the ground, and Crunch kept on running. She stepped on something, and it made a crunch noise. Crunch screamed into the night, hooves pounding the ground harder and harder as she ran. She reached to top of the trail, and saw the light of the barn.

Crunch slowed down, and stopped running, taking in big gulps of air. Something oozed of her hoof. She lifted it up, and pawed to ground, trying to unhook it from her hoof. A dead bat suction-cupped off of her, and Crunch’s eyes went wild with fear. She pounded down and down onto the bat, creaming it to pulp.

Crunch has never returned to that spot on the field, and will never. She doesn’t like bats. No, she hate’s bats. Nothing is worse than them.

Personality: Bat is a very skittish horse, despite being based off of a generally scary animal. She doesn't like surprises and is easily startled by the most obvious things, whether they're loud noises, noisy children, even the engine of a car pulling out of the drive-way. Having said that, she's a difficult horse to ride because of the large number of things that scare her. A trashcan? Are you sure that isn't a ravenous monster?
Short Story: Bat had just arrived at Cottonwood on the warm, muggy summer night that she was put outside with the night turnout horses. It was before anyone really got to know her, so I can't say much there, but they should have been able to tell that the way she was romping around in the field that it was more than just being in a new place that was making her do that. She had just settled down and dropped her head to graze when a loud squeal rang out and a bat landed right on her back! She nearly flipped in a huge buck and almost hurtled through the fence, that's how startled she was. She was even making the other horses excited too. Seeing this behavior, stable hands immediately captured Bat and brought her back inside. She hasn't been on night turnout since, for good reason!
