name; Shiro, meaning 'white.' Often called Shibe for obvious reasons.
gender; Male
secret; he has trouble speaking, and he covers the fact up by pretending he's mute. Shiro can talk, but whenever he does, he stutters a lot, and his voice is always very, very quiet. not only that; Shiro hasn't spoken in months. he carries a book on sign language wherever he goes, and he already knows half of what's written there. Only a few of his friends have ever heard him speak.

Shiro's speech problems began when he was very young. He couldn't speak well and it hurt whenever he tried to. To this day, he remains silent, but he will speak up for those who need him to. Shiro has anxiety problems because of this, and he doesn't enjoy being a meme very much.

Secret (Disability, deep secret, etc.); Haroon was born sick. He couldn't breath on his own very well. He was kept on machines. Without them, he would die of suffocation.

When Haroon was about 5 years old, he could finally live without anything hooked up to him, but he was kept in constant surveillance. His parents were very protective of him. He couldn't go out and play like all the other little kids. At first, he didn't understand why. He would ask if he could go play, but his parents never let him. When he was at the age of 8, Haroon asked his parents if he could go outside and play. Since he hadn't had any problem recently, they let him play in the yard. He was running around and chasing after butterflies. Suddenly, he collapsed. His parents saw him through the window and ran out to get him. They rushed him to a nearby hospital where he stayed for a few days. After he was able to go back home, he never asked again if he could go out and play. He read books instead. In middle school, he wasn't able to do anything in p.e. He had to do other things like read over the rules of games and take tests over all of it. High school was the same.

No one really knew why he never did any physical education. Haroon would never tell them, and always asked for them to leave him alone. They teased him for it. They called him names, and at one time, a kid beat him up. Haroon was lucky. He managed to keep calm. He didn't fight back. After that, everyone left him alone. No one wanted to waste their time on him. In truth, they were jealous of him.

Secret; when he was quite young, setsuko was in a car accident. they thought he would die, but he made it out alive - except, he had a terrible limp due to leg injuries. his limp does slow him down, but doesn't stop him from living life to the fullest.

Name; Palo Alto, meaning 'tall trees' in Spanish.

Gender; Female

Secret; Palo Alto is highly synesthetic, meaning that she associates colors with numbers, letters, and words to the point that it can get in the way of her daily life. Sometimes she has trouble with math because many numbers are close to the same shade of a color for her. She tries to hide it because she doesn't want to be thought of as stupid or lesser in society, and so has trained very hard to speak in perfect English and know quite a few things in all other subjects, including playing five instruments and perfecting many art forms. She often carries a calculator around so that she doesn't have to do math herself and show her weakness to the world, which would be very embarrassing for her as she is a nerdy type and proud of it.

I'm just going to give him a personality here first and then see if a secret comes to me. A character can't have secrets until they have a personality!

Lazy:
Seiichi is a lazy boy, and though he will do stuff that needs done, he usually puts it off until the last minute and doesn't put much effort into it. It takes a lot to get him to care about something very deeply, but if he does, it means that it is something that really means a lot to him.

Egocentric:
One of the few things Seiichi does really care about is himself. He likes to look good, and tries to keep up with fashions he thinks are cool. A lot of this is a ruse, however, because he's actually very self-conscious. He's just too proud to let anyone know that. He'd rather be seen as a self-centered jerk than what he calls an "Antisocial wimp"

Controlling:
Sei likes to be in control of things. He had a rocky childhood, and because he couldn't control things then, he feels he has to now. Because he's lazy, he often pawns off his work to others. This doesn't stop him from micromanaging them, though. Everything has to go his way, and most of the time, when it doesn't, he freaks out.

Socially Awkward:
Seiichi is very introverted. He likes time to himself, and all that time alone leaves him absolutely clueless as to how people work. He covers this up by being vain and controlling, when really if he's confronted with social situations, he wants to go hide under a bed somewhere.

Secret:
Because of his rocky childhood and introverted nature, Sei acts in a way to protect himself. He'd probably die (figuratively, of course) if someone ever found out about his true self. Because he acts in such a way that is so different from who he really is, he struggles with depression and a lot of self esteem issues, which just makes him try to cover everything up more.
