Why Does This Horse Like Cats?: O'Malley's dam was old and was not meant to foal this late in her life, and the ordeal was too much for her. Because of her loss, O'Malley was hand-reared with a bottle of formula. Because of his age, he could not be housed with larger horses who may have accidentally harmed him. Instead, he lived in a small paddock near the house, with and old tom cat named Jigsaw as his companion. Jigsaw passed away shortly before O'Malley turned one, and everyone feared the poor thing would die of heartbreak. But Jigsaw left a last gift for his colt friend: a pair of kittens who showed up by his stall. These kittens would come to be known as Rena and Jitterbug, his friends for the past five years. He adores them not only for the companionship, but for the fact that humans seem to give them all extra attention when they catch sight of the handsome dark gelding with his little riders!

Lennie likes little furry things. Unfortunately, he doesn't do very well around dogs, and can't see anything smaller than a poodle. As a foal, he was a favourite of the barn cats, who always cuddled up to him in the straw. This left him with a love of warm and soft things. His interaction with felines has taught him to be more wary as well. He has learned to think before acting, as a wrong move with a cat can result in quite a nasty punishment. He doesn't hate cats because of this, rather, he enjoys their tough love. Lennie is almost always seen with his two favourite felines, Clara and George.

The simple fact was he grew up with all the barn cats, and liked to survey the little creatures from his stall. Kory liked the way they rubbed up against his legs and weaved between them. They were warm, fluffy, clever, kind, playful, and loved to cuddle, and since Kory, as a foal, had an ever-sweet disposition but was extremely shy, he found his first friends among the cats and kittens of the barn. Why Does This Horse Like Cats?: Allegro likes cats because who grew up with barn cats. The barn cats would randomly go into some of the stalls at the stable and they would snuggle up against the horses in there and most of the time Allegro was one of them. The cats loved his soft foal coat and he loved the purring noise they made. Allegro has been best friends with Sinatra since birth and eventually met Sisco. The reason he likes them is because he knows they won't hurt him at all. They just cuddle up to him, settle down for the night, and make that soft, low purring sound.

Why Does This Horse Like Cats?: Mew likes cats because...well he kinda thinks he is one. His mother refused to take him so he was raised by humans. The humans could not be with him 24/7 so he constantly yearned for motherly love. One day as Mew (Unnamed at time) was laying sadly in his stall, the mama cat in the barn who has two kittens at the time (Swiper and Gentleman), went down into his stall with him. She began to groom his face and every night after that snuggled up with Mew at night. Mew was named for the way he tried to make a cat like noise to his "mom and siblings". Mew and his siblings still run around causing trouble every day.
