White-Tailed Bloombacks

What are White-Tailed Bloombacks?

White-Tailed Bloombacks are deer-like creatures with large, living flowers on their backs. They are elusive, shy creatures, only recently discovered in ancient forests. They are tiny, only 16 in (40 cm) high and 28 in (70 cm) from nose to tail. Although Bloombacks evade humans, once you earn their trust they will be eternally loyal.

Traits

-All White-Tailed Bloombacks have white on the underside of their tails
-Their flowers are living and are a part of them
-Heterochromia is more common than single-coloured irises
-All Bloombacks possess healing magic
-Only rare Ancient Bloombacks possess elemental magic

Sexual Dimorphism

Males:
Males have large ears and a single charm.
Females:
Females have smaller ears, small horns, and rings around both ears.

Diet

Bloombacks are herbivores, and their diet mostly consists of berries and nuts. Occasionally they’ll also eat insects.

Mating Habits

Bloombacks are polyamorous, although they do mate for life. Homosexuality is also common among the species. Since they mate by cross-pollinating their flowers, it is possible for same-sex Bloombacks to produce offspring.

------- Do not be rude about what people choose for personalities or traits in a Bloomback. This is a positive community, and must be kept that way.
- Do not ask to be staff. Applications will be opened when we need it.
- Do not mini-mod.
-You are not allowed to sell, trade, or gift Bloombacks.
-I’m not currently offering customs.
-You may not breed your Bloombacks. I’ll eventually open up a nursery for breeding.
-Bloombacks are animals from the natural world and so should not be depicted using or wearing anything manmade. The exception to this rule is if a human is also depicted in the piece.
-Failure to abide by these rules may result in a temporary or permanent ban from the species, and/or loss of your Bloomback.
