What are Keetins?
Keetins are small, agile mouse creatures that live within the trees of any forested climate in the world, and are closely related to the Twiglet species. They can't run very fast or fly, but they are terrific at leaping and climbing, despite their short limbs. These little guys tend to be tamed as companions and will often be seen riding their handler's shoulder, pockets or hiding in their hair. Keetins will never grow any larger than a squirrel, baby Keetins (called Kits) can be as small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. A Keetin's diet consists of their favourite food, Strawberries! However they are also seen eating other fruits and sometimes cakes.
A group of Keetins is called a Keetai (pronounced key-tie). They communicate through a series of small pips and mews.
When happy, a Keetin will release a scent from a gland inside it's ear, making it smell beautifully like strawberries.

Okay I finally got around to making these. :'D Which is good because the last Keetin I made was... *glances uncomfortably at the created pets section of my Oekaki* almost one year ago... heh heh...

But anyways here we are! XD I'm more into the designing aspect of this than the judging contest aspect so I'll try to make this somewhat simple.

Art will increase your chances of winning but again you can't go over three pieces. Effort > Quality and Quantity. I would recommend doing it yourself however I realize that art can be expensive and you still need to put forth some effort to successfully get a commission so I will count purchased artworks as credit.

You can format your post to also boost your chances. Once again, Effort > Quality and Quantity in my eyes so even if you can hardly design if I see that you attempted it and tried out formating you'll get credit.

The name and gender will not factor into your chances of winning. I don't care if you name it something long and elegant or if you just want to call this Keetin "Wolf". Just give it whatever name/gender you personally like.

Ends on the 14th of September. I'll extend it by a week if a) there are little entrants or b) at least 50% of the entrants request more time.

Klepto- Don't let his adorable expression fool you- Féro is a master theif. It's just always been that way- he sees something he likes, and he takes it. It doesn't particularly matter what item it may be; marbles, scraps of paper, watches, necklaces, beads, pencils, pebbles, even food.

"Y-you don't have to put it like that..."

Hoarder- So, what to do with all his stolen booty? Absolutely nothing. He squirrels it all away into his little alcove hidey-hole, where no one can find him, not even his owner or his friends- and there it sits, just so he can come back and gaze at it, rarely ever playing with his items.

"I am n-not OCD!"

OCD- With all those trinkets, you have to organized, naturally...
But Féro takes it to a whole new level. He organizes everything, and
if he finds anything out of order it freaks him out and he immediately
has to fix it, or else he will get even more twitchy and uptight.

"Q-quit making f-fun of me..."

----------

Jittery- Due to fear of most everything, especially others finding
his little hoard, Féro has become quite the jumpy, on-edge little
fellow. This causes him to stammer and tap his paws constantly, making
him a prime target for bullying, which makes him even more nervous.

"I am not defensive!!"

----------

Defensive- His fear once again working against him, Féro is also
quite defensive, especially when it comes to his little 'treasures.'
If anybody accuses him of stealing he immediately jumps to his own
defense, usually quite angry and afraid. If you get him really upset
he will even start yelling, and stop stammering.
