What is a Makoatl?
A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious
hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they
are very protective and mothering to their offspring,
as well as to each other the majority of the time.

Farland, being a cold Makaotl, has maybe only a handful of friends. His cold demeanor and usual glare-and-scowl look scares off others before he could even speak to them. Sharp-tongued and snide, you could say that he's the whole package. Farland acts grumpy almost all the time and likes to complain, but he does have a caring side, even if it is hidden behind his many layers.

Your name is Mes, short for Messenger. You suppose the name fits, seeing as you were one. For some reason, people like to ask you to tell others about something, not that you cared much. People see you as flighty because of this, but who would want to stick around? Not you. Maybe because you were used to just telling people things and leaving, you have a hard time holding a conversation. Thing again, not many people seem to notice you, unless you tell them you're here.
