What is a Makoatl?
A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious
hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they
are very protective and mothering to their offspring,
as well as to each other the majority of the time.

Eldhrimnir is associated with this theme song for numerous reasons. Starting with the basics, her physical appearance matches the lyrics in the song. Her hair is a luminescent purple, much like witch fire. This, resting in contrast against the dark soot colored pelt and standing out like a beacon in the dark of night, creates a mystical appearance. But beauty is only skin deep, and this song delves much deeper. Eldhri, like fire, can never stay still. Her soul is always flickering and alight with adventure. The world and its wonders are oxygen that fuel her flame and without it, she would be extinguished. Every step forward she takes is another paw print in her history. But what is history with no one to hear it? As a dreamer, she wishes to show the world the wonders she experiences. She wants to present her way of life, to light fairies across the sky, as she walks through storms and sunshine. And finally, this song embodies her thoughts on friendship. She has a fierce loyalty that she only shows to those strong enough to return her loyalty. If they are unable to stand the risk of night, then it is easier to pass them by as she goes along her way.

The world is great, the world is large, and I am but an ant in comparison.

I was born a celtic daughter, the knots of my family coming together in time to create me, so here I sit before you now, on the other side of this flame. Each day my eyes water as the soot settles into them, tears dripping from my muzzle as the smoke rises around me, but I am gifted in exchange with the deepest of secrets and the strangest kind of knowledge. They say that legends are lies; tales to tell children so that they will behave; warnings against immoral actions. But, I tell you that that is the lie. It is true that they are warnings, but warnings for much more than for what you have been taught as truth. For fairies are real, just as dogs and cats; you and me.
Come with me into the lands where no one treads. Into the swamps where ghost fire rises from
it's depths, luring the unsuspecting into the quicksands.
Follow me up into the mountains where ghosts of women trick men into the storms of ice and large
furry creatures lurk in the dark, leaving nothing but footprints.
Escort me into the woods where antlered men walk with teeth like knives,
Or walk me into the stream where giant fish like frogs with lilies for hats grab you by the ankles and pull you in.
It is all real if you walk the path of flame instead of that of dirt. Walk with me into the firelands,
follow the mythos that is true.
Some travel the word with pen and pencil,
Others carry them with cameras,
But neither of these will ever relay
The magic that can only be seen as true
When seen in person.
So come with me into the firelands.

With only our flame to leave a mark.
Accompany me into the night,
But never run in fright.
For we were born to see the world,
And never let our dreams be unfurled.

This is Cecilia's theme song because it's the song that gets her through everyday. Whenever she is feeling down or upset, Cecilia listens to this song, and it always cheers her up. She knows that she will never be alone, she will always have her friends around her.
This song inspires Cecilia to make sure that everyone around her is happy. She does all that she can to keep others happy, and cheer them up when they are feeling down. Most of the time, she starts with playing this song for them, and then asking them if they need to talk. This usually cheers them up, and makes them feel better.
