What is a Keardor?
A Keardor is a smaller cousin species of the Kora. It is a type of big cat with a bright spirit and a love for feathers. Keardors are partially feathered themselves, usually at their rears. Elbow, head, and ankle feathers are less common. They have feathery dorsal manes that rut backwards or upright. They are short at the head and never fall forward. Their tails are huge and plumy, and they take great pride in this feature. Keardors, like Koras, often have spots, but significantly fewer. They usually stay restricted to paws, face, and/or rear. Keardors are either nocturnal or diurnal. The difference between the two is shown in their eyes. Diurnal Keardors have narrow, almost reptilian pupils while the much more common nocturnal Keardors have wider ones. Keardors, unlike their cousins, Koras, hate water and cold, and prefer hotter climates. They are much more outgoing and bright, and would love a companion to look after them.
Perhaps, you can be their companion of choice.

Disability one » Vocal problems;

Matteo used to talk. But after an accident he can't really. His vocal chords are damaged to the point where he may never talk again. Now, he's almost afraid to try talking. He can say the words ''No'' and ''stop'' but they come out so croaked and hoarse, it's unbelievably painful for him. His throat burns to the point where his breathing becomes ragged and fast, and he acts like he's not getting air. But his throat isn't swollen or is it going to be. The pain of it all clouds his sensory. This pain usually can last for minutes to hours. The pain will dim down, but the burning will stay for a day or two. He has a bud that has him trying to yell at him to stop talking all the time. And he was the one who spilled it when he croaked out no at him. But who says a brother doesn't know how to converse? He still has a few ways to talk.

How he deals with this;

he uses his body for language instead. The simplest is hard motions and head indication. You just have to be paying attention when he's doing that or things could get complicated. He has a small temper when no one can understand him, so then he tries to talk it. But panicking everyone around him, because he's trying to talk with his damaged vocal chords. His other methods are to use paper and pen but he gets mad when he can't write fast enough. And his other message is just through anger. When he's genuinely seething, he looses it, and flips out his swiss army knife and stalks up to you, slowly. Almost like he's brooding something. The Rocky road less traveled wouldn't be the good choice. Take the common path of his body language and quietly ask what's got you upset. Maybe he won't kill you because you don't understand.

He suffers from a large case of amnesia. This all started way back when he had been transported to another country. They went under heavy fire and a rocket blew up near him. One of the dogs, turned on them, because of the shock and attacked Matteo. In all of the frey, the dog was killed. And matteo earned his scars from it. Thing is, all of them are on the right side of his face. At random times he'll get a memory surge and collapse to the floor. It doesn't hurt, but it happens so suddenly that it catches him by surprise. You can't stop these surges, you can only comfort him while it happens. It's bad enough that it'll leave him scared, disoriented, and highly susceptic to becoming angry and lashing out.

How does he deal;

He can't really, it comes off so badly. He's usually frightened when they happen at night, almost like a nightmare on top of a nightmare. He usually wakes up screaming out. Not in the way of a simple scream. Like an earpiercing scream that will wake up anyone around him. It's not his fault that he can't control them. Can't control when they happen. But it's harder now that he's the older of the two and has to do everything. Yeah, he can't do everything.... But he can try.
