A suggestion I've been getting a lot recently nwn This one's based off a Northern Mexican Garter Snake. The contest for this one is a very simple one; all you have to do is come up with a name, gender, and personality! You may add up to two extras of your choice, but keep in mind that I will mainly be judging based on the personality you come up with. <3

Name;; Perekin Akhil Innes. Perekin being his first name, Akhil his middle, and Innes is his last name. Perekin is a French name meaning 'little rock'. Akhil has several meanings- 'world', 'whole', 'perfect', 'entire', 'complete', and 'all encompassing'. Innes is of Irish origin, and means 'from the river island'. He is called Innes or Akhil, though some call him Pere. He goes with whatever as long as he can recognize that it's him they're talking to.

At first...
Perekin is often calm and quiet when you first meet him. He will only
talk unless he has something to say or if he is spoken to first, and
usually will speak quietly- as if he's in a library. Though this isn't
because he is shy- oh no, it's because he just hasn't gotten to know
you enough. The more you chat with him, the more he will open up to
you. Though this may take some time, or you will have to talk to him
very often for some time, but it is worth the wait.

Once he considers you to be a friend...
Perekin will literally love it every time he sees you. He will always
have something to add onto the conversation, and will occasionally
change the subject to keep the conversation flowing. At this point,
Perekin will start to bake you treats and give you some gifts to
show he cares.... That is, if he doesn't fall before he gets it to you.
Perekin will also start to hang around you much more, thus includes
walking and tripping while he's at it.

Best friend point...
Perekin will literally stay by your side as if you both are glued
together. He shows much more emotions than he normally
would to you, and cares about how you're feeling and if you're
okay. Even if you had a simple paper cut on your arm, Perekin
will be devastated and will search immediately for something
to make it feel better. He will try his best to keep in touch
with you to make sure you are safe. Though, if he notices
that he is being a bit of a bother, he will give you time to
yourself.

Favorite thing to do and why;; Catching fireflies in the dark. Sure, lots of people like to
catch fireflies, but Perekin enjoys it most when you can only see their lights. This is a
challenge for Perekin, and he adores challenges. It is indeed hard to catch fireflies, but
as clumsy as Perekin is, it's hard not to fall or bump into anything. What makes it more
difficult is that there is less fireflies out when it is that late. Despite this, Perekin still
enjoys catching the small bugs in the dark.
