USERNAME: perfect storm.
SHOW NAME: this young gal is named Fires Of Pompeii. You would probably ask, why would a mare such a colour represent the burning ashes which buried the town of Pompeii? Well, it is a good question. The dark part of her coat represents the dark skyes which were polluted with burning dust and ashes, while her snowy blanket are the buildings which are being burned down to the ground. Her mane and tail are the smoke as well as the ghosts of the people who have passed away.
BARN NAME: Everyone, as well as herself, calls her Pomeii. No one ever calls her Fire or Fires.
AGE: Pompeii is four years old, her birth day is the twenty first of november.
HEIGHT: She stands at around 15.2hh
BREED: Rocky Mountain Horse X Quarter Horse
COLOUR: Faded Black
GENDER: Pompeii is a mare, or female. She always was, and she always will be.
LIKES AND DISLIKES; Pompeii is a easy to handle mare. She is laid back, and likes to go with the flow. She is very well trained, and rarely causes any problems. She doesn't like harsh handleing and isn't afraid to show you that, but it's rare for her to freak out or bolt. She loves other horses and animals, as well as humans and their treats.
HER LIFE AT THE MOMENT; Today, Pompeii is a horse which stays at the Longside Creek Equestrian Stables. Her rider is a girl named Brooklyn which also owns a horse named Your Final Destiation (Destiny)and Cassowary (Cass). Pompeii was purchased in hopes that she would help her other horse, Cass, get used toothger horses for the Mustang Makeover as Destiny is a stallion and would't be the ideal horse. Pompeii is an english horse, and mostily does show-jumping but does a bit of Cross-country as well.
HER PAST; Pompeii was born on a small in Colorado. She grew up with her dam, Puma, as they were the only horses on the farm. There was also a sheepdog named Benny, which she liked to hang out with also. She was sold whe the farm was low on money and ended up in the hands of a small boy named Andre. He was only about nine years old when he got Pompeii, but she was named by his sister Amanda. Andre was an OK owner, he wasn't really into competing or sports such as dressage, so Pompeii never got a chance to become an eventer. Many years past, and slowly the boy lost interest in Pompeii. He would ride her less and less, and eventually she was sold to Longside Creek Equestrian, were she lives now.
HER FAMILY; Pompeii was never bred in her life, therfore she has no offspring. She has no known siblings, but this is currently unknown. Her mother was a mare named Puma while her father was a stallion named Coyote.
