hated the way his tail was, so he cut it. As it severed it off. Too long, too heavy, he wanted something shorter and breezy. This also came with a backstory. He tail had been severed off by barbed wire. A prank some bullies pulled and it went wrong. He got caught, and twisted around, it broken into his tail. Someone found him and they took.him to the hospital. He didn't like it, so they severed it. he loves the style now. It's a more punk style.

"Why does it matter? Can you not accept me unless I tell you this tragic tale? Are you just going to listen, feel pity, and then leave?" He sat himself down, facing away from you. "Whatever, not like I'm used to it." He lifted his head a little, adjusting himself a little so you could see more his frontal half. "It's not even that tragic really, it's just common error and stupidity..."

"So here's how it went, stupid little kid me was wondering around the outskirts of a town. I'd run away from my house temporarily, just to get some sense of adventure. There was a bunch of train tracks going through this place, 'course I had never seen 'em before so I was jumping all over them all excited like. And then a train came, and I stared it down in excitement, thinking 'wow, I wonder if I can climb on it' so I waited for it to come before trying to jump on it. I didn't even jump, it hit me straight on and ran over my tail." He shivered, turning himself away from you, trying to be as vague as possible. "They didn't even notice me and went on their way. Some other humans working around the place came to help me, took me to a vet or whatever they're called, they amputated my tail up to here-" he wiggled his tail, making it a little more noticeable, "and sent me off." He turned himself back to you, his expression angry and upset. "There, now you can go about your merry time."
