What is a Kiamara?
A kiamara is a wolf/lion-like creature. They have long, fluffy manes on the top of their heads, running down between their shoulders. They all have spots on their bodies- a trait in which will never be bred out of their DNA. They also have feathers- every Kiamara is given feathers when they reach the age of 2 years old. Their diet consists of fruit as well as meat- they prey on similar creatures that wolves would. Kiamara can be very shy before they get to know you. Can you win a Kiamara's heart?

Reason for name;; Balthasar is a character from one of shakespeare's plays known as "Much Ado About Nothing." Balthasar happes to be the quiet man with a soft touch to one's mind and character. He can seem a bit too quiet, thoughtful, and serious, but he can be quite soft. Balthasar also means "the lord protects."
I see this kia having a protective side - though he is most likely the reserved type.
The "C." stands for Clyde, meaning "river." He can run through problems as quickly as the strongest river but hide what can appear from beneath the surface.

Bertwin may not be well-known throughout every mind, but he can be well-known by some for his determined and indepedent ways that have helped him eith his past achievements. It was a warm and clear night. Silvery clouds made way for brilliant stars and a crescent moon. A kiamara nursed her nameless child. Dozens of names ran through the mother's head, but none of them fit. Frustrated, the mother turned to the night sky for help. It was then she was the most beautiful crescent moon she had ever seen. Without hesitation, the mother dubbed her child Crescent Moon. She believed that Crescent would grow up to be just as radiant as the moon on a summer night.

Hazel Grace Lancaster.

The name of Hazel Grace Lancaster comes from the book, The Fault in Our Stars. I read this book last September, and immediately fell in love with the main character, Hazel Grace Lancaster. If you haven't already read the book, Hazel Grace has Thyroid cancer, and is using a medication which shrinks the tumors, but does not erase them. This Kiamara seemed to be overwhelmed in a world of darkness (the murky green) but there is still a tiny little light (the tips of gold) at the end of a tunnel, the hope that someday she could put back the deathly blackness, and into the world of light.

This culture is known for their large, leaf-shaped stone arrow/spearheads.These are some of the hardest spearheads to find, and are valued very highly. reason for name: one reason is because the name is light but tough, a name for a unique and bold character that yearns to fight. the german touch to it (german version of nicholas), makes it seem more genuine and will always make a smile on my face whenever i seen or heard it. personally, the reason for this name is because it is the name of an old friend. he is a war veteran, arriving in 2012 without me knowing about it (and also hence why he will have a military background). he has ptsd, but he has quickly recovered in a course of two years, thankfully. the name itself is a german name that meant "victory of the people" or "victorious people", like my friend had done for my (or our) country.

therefore (to sum this up), the reason for this name is because it has good memories of an amazing friend who faced to many stressful/dangerous things over the years and help me develop a strong, nearly flawless character that i wouldn't regret creating. it is the key to a personality much unlike anyone has seen among the kiamara community, like a beacon shining across the treacherous waters. the name's german touch gives him the uniqueness he needs for this gorgeous kiamara.

gender; Yin, I see more as a female, than male.
reason for name; we'll the names meaning is from the Chinese 银 "silver", 音 "sound" or 荫 "shade". All these things I find beautiful, and for some reason connect to too. You can't right away see the connection between this Kiamara, and words like silver, sound and shade, but sometimes things just fit without a reason. It's.. Unexplainable.

as the light of silver, the shade lures you in on a hot day and these plaesant waves of sound.
it's a trick I tell you, the silver and shade, are nothing but lifeless.

but then, why, do we find beauty in it? why can something dead and cold, seem so...

Reason for name;;
Her design and blue-ish hues remind me of caves, and therefore, oddly enough, glowing things. I immediately thought of the word 'glow worm' when I first saw her, and couldn't help but use the scientific name of the female species of lightning bugs. I just thought 'bug', 'caves' and 'glow' because of the yellow against the blue.
Fireflies are also representatives of burning, and shinning, without burning themselves up. This kia would have an attitude similar to that, able to shine when needed, but never over the top, and only for a flicker, a second of time. Gentle and easy going, with a natural grace about her. She would also be kind, and gentle, just hovering about and enjoying life as it flickered by her. Lampyridae, or 'Lamp' as a few would call her, would be that kind of character who eases themselves into your life, never truly touching it, but floating by it, while still affecting you. She'd never be over the top, never bother doing anything exuberant or impulsive, but existing, gently and lazily.
