What's a Hazard Cat?

Hazard cats are felines that have been partially mixed with robotics. They have tails made of metal that are severed in the middle, but connected with some form of energy. A glass screen rests on their chests. This screen shows the cat's health with heartbeats or a glowing circle. The color always matches the cat's eyes. Some cats' screens are full of static. Beware, these are dangerous as they are rare. A small grate can be seen on both sides of the cats' bodies. They breathe through these grates, so it's impossible for it not to be there. What comes out of the grate differs from cat to cat. The most common is steam, uncommon is sound, which is accompanied by mist, and the hardest to find have goo seeping out between the bars. They have three eyes, but the one in the center of their forehead is almost always taped down or covered with a band-aid. It is said that this third eye allows them to paralyze their targets. The pupils are most commonly hollow in the center, but can be regular of slit. Large ears and eyes allow them to see clearly in all levels of light, even in pitch blackness. Their hearing is very advanced and they can hear sounds even higher than dogs can. Their legs are very long, like those of maned wolves, bringing them up to speeds of fifty miles per hour.

hazard's gender ;; vlade is of course a male. he hates being taken for a female for his looks. he sees himself as a sort of ice king sometimes, but only in his imagination, which he doesn't share to anyone else.

hazard's personality ;; vlade, being the tech-loving hazard, often describes himself as the real-life 'socially awkward penguin,' as in the meme. he often gets into embarrassing situations, and that's how he names himself. he enjoys making others laugh when he is teased, however, and takes his experiences and turns them into amusing stories. even though he doesn't see himself as a comedian, vlade loves being the center of attention... and hates telling a bad joke when he's the only one laughing.

he can be overly paranoid at times. just hearing someone cough near him makes him think of dying because of some insane disease, and slipping on his own ice makes him feel scared of killing people by making them trip over ice sculptures. yes, he's that paranoid.

beneath all that awkwardness, vlade is known for having a heart. he wouldn't hesitate to defend someone, even though nobody takes him seriously. he's bold, protective and brave even though he walks around with the words 'I AM SOCIALLY AWKWARD' stamped on his forehead.

on the internet, he's more of a lurker; some sort of stalker who never comments. he only barges in when he sees trouble, like a fight brewing. he is silent on the internet but also tries to keep things cool.

he also likes memes. he constantly makes references to them that people rarely understand, which adds to his awkward personality. he has a taste for art and drawing too, but not as much as his humor.

one word that y'all probably sick of by now: pokémon. vlade enjoys playing it, especially in his spare time, but he only enjoys the gameboy versions played on his computer. in other words, he's only familiar with playing pokémon with 8-bit and 16-bit engines. he also likes other old versions of popular games such as super mario, legend of zelda and such.

not only that, but vlade is sometimes deep-thinking, especially when he's alone. he thinks of humanity and places hazard cats on the same level as humans. he doesn't go so far as to think that myths exist, he only wishes the world were more peaceful.

what's with the ice? ;; vlade has the ability to make temperatures drop around a three-meter radius and has the abilities to form icicles, and that's how he conceals his third eye, which not only paralyzes but amplifies his ice powers to a tremendous level. he, being the good old anti-bullying hazard, rarely uses his powers and prefers to keep them hidden even though it's never easy.

Dry Ice has two sides to her personality, which she switches between. The first of the two is her calm, quiet, soft, and collected.
