how does this MGH use their element?:
Cocoa often climbs trees in the rain forest to reach their delicious cocoa beans which she makes in to even more delicious chocolate. Of course, not all trees in the rain forest are cocoa trees (which makes her confused and disappointed; I mean, why would you even want those other trees?), so she often climbs very high trees for no reason other then to be frustrated when she reaches the top. but, she is slowly learning which trees are cocoa trees and which are not.

how does this MGH use their element?:
Lucian rarely uses his element for any purpose, no matter what. He prefers to avoid any and all conflict and will only use his element in the event of a life or death situation, or to help others, but never for his own benefit. This is because he never took the time to learn to control his element efficiently, and because of this he nearly ended up hurting someone close to him. He doesn't trust himself to use his element properly or safely and is deathly afraid of having his gems blackened.

Personality:
Lucian has a more quiet, darker personality. He mostly keeps to himself and avoids others, mostly because he has trouble controlling his element and doesn't want to hurt anyone. He tends to box his emotions in, and let his anger, stress, or whatever else it may be, build up until he finally lets it out.
Lucian is very smart though, he possesses a sharp intellect as well as sharp claws. When faced with confrontation he rarely uses his element, but he is very skilled in hand to hand (paw to paw?) combat. Though traditional fighting may not be as powerful as using an element, he often takes his enemies off their guard with his impressive skill in non-elemental combat.
He travels often because he's afraid of becoming attached to a certain area, thusly making friends in that area and some day hurting them. At least thats his idea of what might happen. However, when passing through an area he is always kind and courteous to whomever he may meet.

Likes and Dislikes:
Likes:
~Books: Lucian does not place much value in material objects, but he deeply values literature. Books to him are a source of knowledge, and a means of escape.

~Stone: Being an earth elemental he loves the earth, but finds himself more attracted to the strong, stone and dirt aspect of the earth rather than the fragile plants.

~Sunlight: He loves the sunlight and will allow himself the occasional nap in a nice, warm ray of light.

~Hiking: He doesn't only travel to get away, but finds hiking and climbing a excellent form of exercise, and it also gives him plenty of time to think.


Dislikes:
~Conflict: He dislikes conflict, not just because he fears using his element, but also because he is a pacifist and will try to talk things out before resorting to a physical altercation.

~Idleness: He can't stand having nothing to do and gets stir crazy when he stays in the same place for too long.

~Fire: Even though he gets along with fire element MGH's and has nothing against them, he finds himself frightened by fire. He see's it as an uncontrollable and destroying force.

~Discrimination: He hates it when others judge by differences, and as cheesy as it sounds, he wishes that everyone could just get along.

How ?

When being an air element she is able to climb and be faster then the normal hyena. Being like this she is able to race anyone up a hill and beat them. Thats how she uses her certain element but sometimes if its another young air elemented hyena ; she will be kind and let the youngster win.

How does this MGH use their element?:
Surprisingly, Arzivu has a garden which he is very proud of. Unfortunately, he doesn't live close to any water sources, so he wove several baskets to put water in. Every week he walks down to a lakeke about 30 minutes away from his house and fills up two baskets of water, then continues making trips until all the baskets are filled. It's very tedious, but if he didn't do it, his garden would die. He also collects rainwater whenever it rains.

Arzivu likes gardening and basking in the sun. This is more of a side hobby though. He also likes wandering around in the woods, hunting, and finding things to decorate his house with. He also likes springtime and summertime, and rainy weather.
He doesn't really like visitors, but will always give other hyenas a chance if they show up. He doesn't like dry weather or the wintertime, because his garden always dies.[center]

How Does Shaina Use Her Element?:

Yes, it may not seem like it, but my element is the element of fire. Now to answer your question. How do I use my element? Well, I just think about it and do my thing! Wait, are you wondering what I use it for? Oh, well I use it for a few things. We rarely get visitors in these parts, but when we do, and they are in trouble I try and help them, but only if they really need my help of course. And when I travel, I also try and help people. If I am in a colder area, I'll use it to keep myself warm and anyone else who needs the warmth of my flame. I can also dig pretty well which can come in handy for making shelters, not only for me, but for others who need shelters as well where we live.

Personality:

Shaina likes to help others, with whatever she can help them with. Some examples are the use of her abilities explained above. She does like to take time for herself as well though, during those times she can get frustrated if asked to help someone. Sometimes she'll help and sometimes she will not. She travel sometimes, normally in warmer seasons, rarely will she travel in colder seasons. She hates the cold and does not like getting stuck in cold weather. She is a pretty kind hyena though, unless you get on her bad side...

History:

As you already know, my name is Shaina. And since you didn't know, I was born upon the location of a volcanic mountain. I think that might be obvious to those who know my element, but I guess it's not obvious enough. I had a special connection with that place, it was my home, where I was born and raised. But now I don't know where I am. The volcano was active and had erupted. Yes, I am a fire element, but that does not mean I can control an entire volcano of lava, and besides, I was still just a pup. So as you can guess, I lost my home, along with my only sibling. I was hurt, but needed to move on. Sometimes I think that is the reason I like to help others, because of my own loss.

When I grew older I decided to travel about, see new places, meet new people, maybe see what was left of my birth place if I could find the large volcanic mountain. So I set off to explore. I saw quite a few things along my travels, and my love for helping others grew. I did not think I would fall in love on my travels though. I thought of myself as a loner, a wanderer who lived life on the road with no one but herself. That was, until I met him,

His name is Aldebaran, and earth element hyena. A stubborn and fierce hyena who was very confident in his ability and element. Not many tried to impress him, or list after him, afraid to get hurt as he just didn't seem interested. I did not try at first, but I guess I caught his eye, though he hid his interest well. I did not know until the day I was to leave. I was leaving when he came running after me, and asked me to stay. I say ask because he would not beg. I was in shock from him asking. He was never interested in anyone, so why me? I was excited though. So I stayed a while longer.

He is my companion on my travels now, though we occasionally return to his home, for unlike me he still has and loves his home. I did find my birth place, there was nothing there for me. It was no longer my home, changed and shaped by the lava that stole it from me.
