Okay so this sima right here is a subspecies concept- since they are super fun and I feel like they really spice things up. :U
This subspecies would be called Ghost Simas- and they always have an asymmetrical (only on one side, usually) marking of a ghost or ghost esque figure. Now, the marking itself isn't anything but a symbol of the bond between the sima and it's ghost. The ghost protects the sima in return for giving it a place to live/exist in the material world. The sima in question generally has a bit darker personality and black eye whites on account of it's ghost's affects. Ghosts can come in all varieties of shape, size, color and species- who knows maybe even a small sima ghost would be exceptional?

I don't think I'll be making any more of this particular variety of sima, but you guys wanted me to post it- so you can adopt the lone member of this would-be subspecies.

The ghost is what is left of a restless, long-forgotten soul. It truly does what any typical ghost does: follow it's 'victim' everywhere in a haunting manner, mass around with things said 'victim' does, try to ruin his relations, anything to keep the two along and keep things interesting. The ghost never says anything, but does enjoy when it's 'victim' talks to it. It makes it feel wanted and loved, almost as thought it never got that in it's living life.

Bongo views his ghost as a burden and tries to do anything to please it just to get it to leave him be. He talks to it, a lot, and he knows it enjoys it. It just won't seem to leave him alone, though. He hates how it's always causing rifts in his relations by doing things that it can get away with due to him being the only one to see it. It does seem that the ghost only does things that seem plausible for him to be able to do, too, thus making anything wrong seem his fault. He does, sometimes, enjoy it's company, though. Things get pretty lonely when a ghost is turning your life upside down and everyone needs a friend.

Rune Simas
These Sima typically have darker bases with lighter, rune-like markings or lighter bases with darker rune-like markings. Said Sima typically have a closer connection to the four elements and the past than any other Sima and their 'runes' seem to strengthen the abilities of their jewel power. Sometimes that power gets out of control and can corrupt a Sima, these corrupt Sima usually have red 'runes' and longer claws and fangs. All 'runes' glow slightly, much like the jewel does, in the dark or when said Sima is using it's jewel's power. Corrupt Rune Simas' 'runes' always glow, though, in an eerie red like the color of the markings. They can be found with short hair or no hair at all, but never long or medium in length. They are very close to the element they possess and are sometimes said to be embodiment of the element. This is not true, though. They are simply perfectly in tune with their element and how it can be used.
