Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail. The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.
The jewel of a Sima comes in various shapes, sizes and colors, in which they make a Sima unique. Their eyes are always the same color as he jewels unless they have a special condition. Simas have a furry body, their mane around the neck the most furry of all. Even their ears are fuzzy. Baby Simas are more so however, with furry lips, poofier manes and slightly larger ears than what their heads would allow.
Simas are omnivores, meaning they could eat anything from fruit to the meat of a rabbit and even to things like candy or cake. Their teeth are sharp in the front with molars in the back to chew with. All Simas live or come from tropical places. Most are house Simas though and are transferred to other locations where they live with humans. In the wild they are usually in packs of ten. They are social creatures so that's good. Some Simas mate for life, while others like temporary mates.
The jewels of Simas glow at the night, illuminating the darkness when they want. Some jewel colors however cause darkness while others cause more interesting powers.
A Sima has two types of horns that are found in the wild. They are uncommon though to find a lot with them. There are long ones and short ones. Babies don't know which they got until they grow up.

The third Harry Potter themed sima. This lad is based on Ravenclaw. (I went with blue and silver instead of blue and bronze)
He has a common jewel, and has hair and a mane (if asked, I will make a ref of him without his scarf)

Merle is a name of English origin; Which I chose based on the meaning; as it means 'Blackbird'; but also because being based on harry potter I'd want him to be from England; or at least of English origin.
I'd like him to have an English accent as well; I'm a huge fan of harry potter (Especially Ravenclaw); and I felt like trying to stay true to what he was based on was an important part of his character.

He is a true Ravenclaw; Not only in color and name,but in personality. He's a smart little sima, and though he's not the biggest brute or most intimidating of people, he's got an impressive mind. He's quick-witted; and easily gets lost in something that intrigues him. He's able to retain a lot of information, and he's often lovingly referred to as 'The living encyclopedia'.

He doesn't mind though; He loves to KNOW things. Even if he can't just read about it; He has no objections to taking time to figure it out. Whether its through experiments, or research, or just poking around where he probably shouldn't.

He is loyal to his friends, though he is a bit afraid to get involved with anything adventurous sometimes. He'd rather set up a trap then get into a fight.

Though he can sometimes be obsessive over something that piques his interest, he's a cheerful soul who's a wonderful friend to have. He doesn't mind helping those he trusts, and will go out of his way to be nice to them if he can find a way to.

He's a little socially awkward; but once he's got a friend he opens up to them quickly. He's inventive and has a great sense of humor.

He grew up an only child with his mother. His father was never around, and its suspected that its one of the reasons that he became a little bit of a geek. He always had a strong relationship with his mom; (Who he calls his 'mummy')
Growing up his mother read him stories, which easily inspired a love of reading in this little Sima. He was always curious, and would wander from his mother's side as a little kit.
He luckily never got into too much trouble, because his mother was just as much a loyal parent as he was a loyal son.

He was absolutely devastated when his mother passed away shortly after he'd grown into his teen years. He fell into a depressed funk, and instead turned to lose himself in his work. Though he's come to terms with her loss, he is still quite affected by it, though he'd never admit it.

His mother had always protected him; but after her passing he was pushed around by older fellows and though he could have defended himself, he just didn't want to stoop to their level.

He instead set about trying to invent something that would make the world a better place, and became determined to not let it get to him, for his mother's sake.

He might be a bit shy; but he's a very determined little guy. One of the only ways to really make him mad is to insult his mother; which can set him into a blind rage; though he's not exactly a skilled fighter so he's not that much of a threat.


Though he's a little bit lonely; He doesn't let that get to him either.

He loves a partner in crime; anyone willing to help him with an experiment.

He occasionally hurts himself with his silly tests, but that doesn't deter him at all.

Frazzles are a british snack food; They are corn chips made to taste like bacon;
and this Sima loves to eat them while he reads

He loves the winter and snow; Not only does it match his coloring;
but it reminds him of when he was younger and would play in the snow
with his mother.

He loves to spend hours in libraries or in the field researching, as its how he learns new things

His favorite color has always been blue.At first it was because of the sky; but now
he loves it because it resembles his mother's fur color and it fills him with nostalgia.
