What is a Jellybean Dragon?

A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

A "Corpse Flower" (Rafflesia Arnoldii)


.:Why?:.
The Rafflesia Arnoldii, or “Corpse Flower” suits Bayleef because until scientists discovered it, no one thought a plant that smelled like a corpse existed. Now, it doesn’t suit Bay because he smells like a corpse, because he generally smells like the roses he grows in his garden, but because of Bay’s belief that you don't need to see something to know it is real, that it exists. The Rafflesia Arnoldii has no roots, no leaves, nothing to indicate it would be alive, or in existence really. It is a parasitic plant that grows huge red flowers with white spots and lives in its host’s cells taking nutrients and water from the host. Had no one seen the flower who knows how long it would have taken for this plant to get discovered, if it ever would, and thus people wouldn't believe you when you said "there is a plant out there that smells like a corpse." and Bay doesn't agree with that. All in all the "Corpse Flower" suits Bay's belief in the unknown, and that you don't have to see to believe in things.

Whenever I see this bean, I see a cool headed, down to earth youthful male that practices in medicinal and herbal alchemy. Basil is one of the seven most powerful and well-working plants in herbal alchemy, as well as really good as a tea, which this bean's fur colour reminds me of.

Why?:
Because the Stevia Plant is a natural sweetener and Violetta adores sweets, despite her name being Thyme she prefers the one that gives off a sweet taste and in truth deeply enjoys working with plants in general. She hates all those icky artificial sweetener's, and prefers the more natural taste you get from using the stevia leaf. Violetta enjoys growing the Stevia plant in her backyard Greenhouse, she is very skilled at raising many different plants as well and takes her time to show each plant the love and affection they need to grow. In fact she even names all her stevia plants different names and tends to them, remember each one off by heart. Violetta enjoys making tea for her friends and even has her own little tea shop where she makes her own sweeteners from the Stevia leaves in her backyard. The sweet taste she finds to be divine and that is the reason she loves the stevia plant so much.

ｐｌａｎｔ＞＞ Pineapple sage (shown to left)
ｗｈｙ＞＞ The pineapple sage’s bright flowers were what really caught my eye, among all of this plant’s qualities. For me, they represented a little spark, a love of fun, and something bright to contrast and balance everything else about Saige’s qualities and color. When I look at this bean, I see a calm collectiveness… as well as a playful, fun-loving side. Looking at pineapple sage, I can see the same qualities reflected. A little extra background that swayed me to choose this plant - pineapple sage is a tender perennial that will attract hummingbirds and is useful as an herb as well as making gorgeous cut flowers. Its scientific name is Salvia Elegans, and you can find plenty of interesting information by looking up either its scientific name or common name. (130 words)
