What is a Velynn?
Velynns (pronounced [vehy-lynns]) are canine-like creatures most often known for their two soft tufts of feathers, one on their back between their shoulders, and one in place of their tails. The very first Velynns were created from particularly strong daydreams, thoughts, or ideas, and to this day those Velynns without parents come into existence through this same way. Being light and airy, much like thoughts and dreams, Velynns have been known to float. However, they never stop floating! A Velynn not held down will continue to float up and up forever, which doesn't often end well. Because of this, Velynns have always been given anchors of all colors to hang around their neck on a rope. This anchor allows them to walk and move normally on the ground, but it still allows them to levitate above the ground for short period of time, jump higher than normal, and seemingly drift around much more fluidly than any other similar species. If a Velynn was created from a particularly strong idea, it is not uncommon to see them surrounded with wisps of swirling, colored light, most often around their paws.

I had so much fun making this guy/gal, and I hope it tickles some of your interests enough to try out for him/her.
It took me so long to judge this, and that's because there were so, so many good forms to judge this with, and I couldn't even choose one winner so I had to include a runner up. ^^

selected velynn name --personally, I would name this Velynn somewhere along the lines of Gabriel or Axel. But, I've decided to call him Gabriel. Gabriel is a special name to me and there's something about it that makes me want to call him Gabriel.
selected gender --he will be male. There is absolutely NO way that I would ever make him female. His design has maculine I be written all over it. He looks to be male, and his design says it too. To me anyways
why would I like to have him --Well actually I don't know if I should deserve to have him. It's a complicated question to ask a person no? I mean to ask one why they want it, or why they deserve it is a very good question. And frankly, I have trouble answering your question. I will re-state this question. Just to ask, ''What do you like about this sweet little doll, that makes you want to enter?'' Well I'll tell you. First off, he looks so charming and his eyes really do stand out. They are beautiful, and they really make him, well him. They pose the lineart has him in, is perfect for him. Looking all care free and happy, floating around there. Having that anchor to hold him down. That genuine classic smirk on his face. making him look all triumphant and proud of himself, as he struts his stuff. Like he's a celebrity and is walking the red carpet, showing his ''good side'' to the camera as he walks by. As said before, absolutely perfect. Second, I must confess. You have hit my weak spot Lawliet. Truly you've hit home to me. I absolutely love grey scale. It's so beautiful, and placing a deep red as an accent colour was simply divine. This [i]is

♒ Cervantes, after great poet, novelist and playwright Miguel de Cervantes, who wrote Don Quixote. I always liked that name and I feel that it fits him well.

Why do you want this Velynn:
♒ Well lets start with why I want any Velynn at all, shall we? This spiecies draw my attention because I am a big dream person. Dreams have been and are a big part of my life. They were always there for me when I felt bad, I just had to concentrate and fall as leep, fall down deep in my thoughts and desires.
Thats actually why I have this nickname after all.
This Velynn has my favourite colours - red and black. I like black colour mainly because it fits to anything and any other colour, And red is mainly symbol of life for me. I love how they contrast with his green eye and how simple yet amazing he looks.
Next thing is that for my he symbolises good and bad dreams, never ending fight between them, but yet keeping balance in dreams. I usually have dreams which can be considered bad in one way, but there are also bright moments which light my way of life.
