Out near the boarder to the unknown lands our patrol found this young male cub wandering nearby. Alone and no parent to be seen we took the soon to age cub into our possession to raise and care for. He seems a little spooked but otherwise unharmed.



RULES FOR ADOPTION:
-I've been seeing Lions being adopted out with forms that DO NOT FIT the lions way of life. They DO NOT read books, go on ifunny or twitter, eat fruits or food for that matter! Anything in a form that is not accurate to the species will be disqualified! READ the HOMEPAGE before applying!

-Also as of now 1/17/14 there is a new rule which states that if you are unactive with your lion or not at least catching up with the species every once in a while I or my artists have the right to take your lion without permission. Period. If you have any questions regarding this PM ME PLEASE. This is to ensure they are well taken care of instead of just hoarded or forgotten.

-Put effort into your forms please, I spend a lot of time developing these guys and if you really want one put the energy forth.

Personality:
Aestus is extremely skittish. Any sudden sound, movement, or event usually sends him running to cover. Aestus always likes to have his back to a wall, as though he feels he will be attacked. He can often be found in small, dark caves where he feels safe. In absence of that, he enjoys dark, shadowy places. His element allows him to see in the dark, (Is that allowed? ) and he has the advantage there.
Despite his jumpiness, he has a brilliant yet paranoid mind. He prefers figuring out puzzles or exploring his world at night.
Aestus also has a strange fetish. He adores fireflies. He loves how they glow, but can never figure out how. After failing to discover their secret, Aestus has since watched them every chance he got. As he watched them, he learned more and more. Aestus loves their calm, relaxed, nature, unlike his own. He loves watching them "speak" to each other through flashes. He considers them his companions on the lonely nights where he ventures out and explores.

Story:
Aestus sat alone, shivering. Where had his mother gone? His pride? He didn't know. The wind chilled his bones, and he snuggled against a nearby tree.
Everything was dark. He couldn't see past a few tail-length. Shadows lurked around him. He was frozen in place as a hoot sounded through the air. His mind told him it was nothing, just a bird, but he was still terrified. Then, in the midst of his panic, a burning began in his eyes. He blinked a few times. Crack. His head darted sideways, but it was just a branch breaking from a tree. Wait- he could see the tree! He nearly fell over, spinning around so fast. He could see everything. As clear as in the day. Yet it was still night. The world had a strange, slightly orangeish tint. Whatever light he was seeing, he didn't think it was sunlight.

Suddenly, something moved to his left. Something was going to attack him! His heart pounded in his chest. No, it was just some tiny little beetle. It flew straight at Aestus, landing on his nose. He nearly went cross-eyed to look at it. It was small, with large wings and- it was glowing? His mind spun, his terrors were forgotten in the excitement of a puzzle. What had given the creature such an ability? He prepared to study it again. Nothing unusual about it, it just looked like a regular old beetle. It flicked it's wings and took flight. Aestus couldn't help but feel he had offended it with the "regular old beetle" part. A little tear came from his eyes, had he scared off his only companion in this intimidating world?

Aestus searched the skies, and glanced through the trees, hoping for one last glimpse of his tiny friend. There- sitting on the ground a little bit away from him. He nearly squeaked in relief. The beetle's glow pulsed evenly, as though beckoning him. Then it saw it. The beetle was sitting on a paw-print of a lion. This would lead him to an other of his kind, someone who would help him. All thanks to his little insect friend. Not such a regular old beetle anymore.

He Is always seen as bright and happy. Never does he look down in the dumps or depressed in anyway. Much like his element over light really. Many take him for a prude. He doesn't want in anyway to get into any sort of trouble. So never has he committed even a small harmless prank over one of the pridemembers. In almost every way though one can tell that he's more mature than other lion's his age. His behavior though cheerful Is responsible, his eyes show wisdom. As If he's seen things, they show age. And during the nights, his dreams take him. The darkness finally shrouded him. And his powers in this nightmare are useless to stop it. Apollo Is haunted of memories from the past that he hardly can remember. Shadows that won't leave him alone and attack during the night.

Personality
Aro likes people. Being alone as a cub marked him and he never ever wants to be alone again. He is social and friendly, although a little akward at times, but hey, who isn't? He has a serious problem with boundaries, both pysical and mental, like not respeciting personal space and realizing when to shut up about things. Like the akward stuff no one wants to talk about.
He isn't really brave, but not really a coward either. If something has to be done and there's nothing to be done about it he will walk into it without looking back, but if there are other ways, Aro will always take the one that keeps himself out of harms way.
Echaro has little understanding of boundaries, leading to him always telling the truth and being a rubbish liar. This can hurt some, when the truth not always is the most merciful, but rather brutal. Aro will however always try and comfort the people around him even when he's not really sure about what exactly it is he's comforting them about.
He also lacks a lot in his sence of humor and rarely gets references and jokes. Although, he likes talking to himself. Not just these short "Oh you idiot" sort of stuff, but rather the conversation sort of conversation. This can both humor and annoy other lions, but Aro himself doesn't really understand why.

Story
Hi. I'm Echaro. Well, Aro I suppose. Any one of 'em's fine, as long as you don't keep flipping between 'em. That is very annoying. Okay. So why am I here talking to you again?
Well I suppose I should tell you a little tale. How about the one where I was found, huh? That sound good? Great.

The rain was falling heavily around me, getting in my eyes, making me blink ferociously. The faint light that I had summoned flickered in front of me, affected not by the rain but by the state of my own shattered mind. I was running from something.
I didn't know what.
The grey rocks surrounding me offered little comfort and I found myself missing my family. Only I wasn't sure of who they were. I had been alone for over a year now and my life had started to fade into the background, only coming back to me when I focused. But I didn't want to remember and everything was slowly and steadily fading completely. I could only remember my little brother, clear as the day.
He was younger than me, and if possible, even scrawnier. It had always been my job to look after him and make sure he didn't wander of somewhere or hurt himself. Mother and Father was always Busy. With what I to this day don't know. But there I were with my little brother, running around, being generally happy. Of course, at the time I thought it a horrible burden and constantly wondered why I had to look after the little monster. Now all I wanted to know was if he was alive.
But I'd gotten so lost after what had happened that I didn't even know where to look.
So I kept walking.
A week or so earlier I had found a brilliant stream of turqoise water that I had decided to follow. And that was what lead to my first meating with another lion in over a year. The tawny warrior found me in the middle of a storm, lighting my own way, doing my very best not to cry in fear. I was only a cub.
"Who are you, cub?" Said a voice beside me. I turned out my light in fright and yelped.
"A-aro" I wispered. Remembering what my parents once told me, I quickly added "That's short for Echaro"

"Echaro?" The voice grew silent for a while. "Give us light, Aro."
I did as he said and a grown, tawny warrior was illuminated in front of me. "Who are you...?" I was almost scared of talking to him, he seemed so powerful, perfectly vibrant, almost god-like compared to the bleak colourless memories of my family.
"I am Ronin, but that is not the question." Ronin gave me a piercing look. "Why are you out in a storm alone, Echaro?"
"Where else is there to be?" I asked him, pussled by his question.
The older lion looked startled. "You do not come from these parts, but surly there must be some place you call home?"
"...No?"
"Where are your parents?"
"I lost them a year ago in an attack." I got a sudden idea. I uttered it in sudden exitment and with hopeful eyes. "Have you found another cub, 'round my age, but scrawny-er looking wandering around?"
Ronin's face softened a fraction as he uttered a simple "No", watching as the light in my eyes dampened again. "But you should come with me. This is no place for a cub to be, especially with Titus and Kiani showing off so close by."
I nodded quietly, spirits a bit higher at the thought of getting out of this weather and followed the other, quietly telling him of my life as a favour for getting me out of the rain.

And that was how I found my way into the merry band of lions that now reprecents my family so much more than my actuall family. The favour I owe to Ronin is one that can never be repayed and never forgotten.

Hisan is an extremely emotional L.O.C; not in the sense of his kindness, love, and sympathy {{or lack thereof}}, but in his anger, self loathe, and determination. His past of being abandoned and unloved, used and afraid, left deep scars and insecurity in him. Self loathe is one of his biggest problems, due to the fact that Hisan believes that his differences resulted in his loneliness now. Hisan often wishes he could just be like the other Lions of the Cosmos.
This cub is also very unrestricted. He's free of others and never has debts to pay or people to see; this sense of freedom is one of Hisan's largest joys in life. He scorns the other Lions who are held down by spouse and children and love, and tries to forget those who are happy leading that kind of life.
Another of Hisan's joys is his light, which he can summon and make small floating balls of energy in times of sorrow and need. They are one of his few comforts, and Hisan tries his best to treat them right, even if they might only be hallucinations created by himself in times when he is in danger of falling into madness. Whatever the case may be, Hisan believes that his energy balls are alive, and sometimes they are the only things keeping him sane. What Hisan feels for them is a deep affection, due to the help they've given him over the course of his hundred years. This affection is the closest thing to love he has ever felt - for anyone.
Hisan's determination drives him through the ups and downs in his life on a day-to-day basis. His hope to one day be accepted within his species motivates him. Even on the lowest of Hisan's low days, he never loses this hope to be a part of something, though this is one of his deepest secrets. His misery is the one thing that holds him back, and his one dream is to eventually end this misery. Hisan strives to learn all he can about himself, and one day meet a person who he can confide most everthing to: someone who will not feel fear when they know who this cub has become.
