The mane and tail were pretty tough, I'm not gonna lie.
Mane reference: http://winddrinker.files.wordpress.com/ ... %3Fw%3D620
Tail was based off a normal human plait, so no reference was really used.
Anyway, as I discussed with some of my fellow artists in a join.me, and in response to my beloved Olaf by ty_tay, I decided to go for it: a horse based off Elsa from Disney's Frozen!

~*~*Frozen*~*~Trivia:
1. Where was Hans, the prince Anna initially falls for, from? The Southern Isles (Based on Denmark; Wesleton was apparently Sweden. Ardenelle is, of course, Norway. XD)
2. What is Sven the reindeer's favourite treat? Carrots!
3. Who first created Olaf the snowman? Elsa, created for Anna. ("Hi, I'm Olaf, and I like warm hugs!")
4. How did Anna get that white streak of hair? She was being her playful little self, and Elsa was trying to be the protecting big sister, and accidentally zapped her in the head with a blast of ice.
5. What is the name of the location Elsa fled to when the kingdom discovered her powers? The North Mountain
6. BONUS QUESTION: What is your favourite Frozen song and why (don't need detailed answers)? I honestly don't have one. I do adore Let It Go, Do you Want to Build a Snowman, and First Time in Forever (and Reprise), but since those have been talked about, I'll explain why I love "Reindeers are Better than People". I want to breed reindeer. I think they are the cutest thing. And also...there was a period in my life when I was very shut off and did not interact emotionally with any humans. Animals were better than people in my mind, so I can have a bit of a relation to the song at a deeper level. I do sing it with funny voices to my dogs, goats, and horses now, with altered lyrics. ;3

Find me a Frozen gif:
((I wanted an Elsa gif since this is Elsa! Lots of funny ones I could do, but the beauty of the animation (and the terror it spreads in the movie) just leaped out at me!))

Extras:
Personality: Elsa is a good-hearted horse, who wants to help others. However, when she gets emotional or excited, she tends to make mistakes or accidentally harm others, which causes her to shrink into herself. She acts very noble and detached, and doesn't like to be seen getting affectionate with humans or other horses, though sometimes one can catch a little glimmer of hope and curiosity in those pale eyes. Elsa needs affirmation and to experience more things and understand that she doesn't have to walk on thin ice all the time.
Likes: Dressage, Classical Music, Showtunes, Snow, Carrots, Quiet Time
Dislikes: Being Restrained, Pressure from other horses, Chaos, Loud Noises
History: Elsa was raised with her dam, and near the pen of her sire, a handsome mix of Scandinavian breeds. She was very close to both of them, particularly her sire surprisingly, and disliked being away from either of them for long periods of time. As she grew older and began to have issues with others, she would retreat to her mother's side with due haste. Weaning was extremely hard for her, as she felt alone and unprotected, and wasn't sure how to play with horses closer to her in age. She saw her mother after that a bit, but had no clue what had happened when her mother was quarantined and her father was shipped back to Norway for studding purposes. Training in Dressage helped Elsa relax and focus her nervous energy, and she thrived in the careful movements and flowing dances. Her long mane and tail, braided for events, flows behind her spectacularly, and her unusual coloring thrills audiences of all ages, from seasoned riders to pony-loving little girls.
Discipline: Dressage
Tack Color: Elsa would have tack of white leather with faint silver thread on the edges for lining: her wraps and blanket would be a pale blue, fading into faint sunrise tones on the edges.

A kingdom of isolation...
No other form can steal their eyes from the arena.
And it looks like, I'm the Queen...
Defend your title.
The wind is howling...
Voices are all around me, cheering, loud, chaotic.
Like this swirling storm inside....
Ignore your own trepidations.
Couldn't keep it in....
This will not be like those times.
Heaven knows I've tried...
I have tried so hard.
Don't let them in...
They will only get hurt.
Don't let them see...
They will only draw back.
Be the good girl you always have to be...
On target, never swaying.
Conceal, don't feel...
Do not waver from your path.
Don't let them know...
Hesitation will cause failure
Well now they know!
Time to be free!
Let it go!
I am rhythm!
Let it go!
I am grace!
Can't hold it back anymore!
I am freedom!
Other: I picked out the breeds with a very specific reason in mind. ;3 Also, I told myself I wouldn't, but I just couldn't resist! D:
