The trailer had just been unlatched, and even standing a few feet away, watching the hustling handlers scurry about the trailer, you could hear the thuds of the horse inside as it pounded it's hooves against the metal frame of what it was concealed in. Days ago I had heard that there would be a new horse coming to our stables, and that this stallion was of good colour and had strength, so of course I had to make up an excuse to be out there at the unloading pen the morning he was to arrive. 'Comet' they called him. So here I was, with my excuse in hand: in the form of a fiery red chestnut stud I had told my fellow employees I was merely ''taking for a quick walk''. The stud I was leading, nicknamed Markyboy, had noticed the commotion going on before us and stood tall with ears perked and nostrils flaring- he was big ego'd and thought he owned the place, so of course he would need to know this new horse that 'tread on his turf'. As the door came down and the new horse backed out a shrill of whinnys erupted in the air. Markyboy shot forward with a snort and before we could properly react, he had planted a nice nip on the rump of the pintaloosa. And of course Comet didn't take this first encounter very nicely, and a quick kick of his hind legs did the trick in shutting up the red chestnut. After pulling Markyboy back away from Comet and making sure the two headstrong stallions had calmed down, it was time for a proper interaction. After all, if the stables was going to house two flashy studs with such personality, it was best they got along first and foremost.

Comet is a highstrung, headstrong, bossy type of stallion. He loves to show off, and loves attention. Some say he is the long lost brother to our other stallion Markyboy, since they seem to share so much in common with their personalities. Comet always needs to move and can never be cooped up in a stall- he loves to move and usually doesn't stop until he is tired out. Also he is very stubborn, and when it comes to doing things, it's his way or no way at all. He will refuse to listen and there really isn't much any one can do about it. He is just that way.

Obviously Driving competitions, with maybe some Halter on the side

Hmmm well my plans for Comet is obviously adding him to my stable's thread first and foremost, just so I can show off his flashy looks. Second of all, I'll probably draw art of him because hopefully soon my tablet will start working with my laptop and I can make my own digital art of him and a few of my other horses. If there are any upcoming shows, I have a good chance at entering in those with him. Also he would probably become the 'star stud' at my barn right alongside Markyboy. There is just so much I would, and could do with him that I never thought about doing with any of my other CWHR horses.
