It is said that one in ten thousand horses are Chimera. Wow! Yet alone, a jumping one!
Fit and proper is this little Mystery girl. She is still young and in training, but she is a flashy and fancy hunter. She has only been to one comp, and she won second. Was she proud of it! The one thing we all need to work on, is that she loves to race up to the jumps and fly over them at full speed! "Whoa!" is proabably what she hears most in her life. Well, she is young, and not to mention she is a thoroughbred!

To surprise you, she hates my puppy Marvel. Yes. Of course he does not know let alone care, but she sure does show him! She pins back her ears when he barks, kicks the stall door as he runs by , and squeals if he stops to say hi to her. Don't get me wrong. She is the sweetest and friendliest little filly out their to humans, and other dogs, but she just hates Marvel. So today, I am going to tell you a small short story about one of their 'animal' fights.
You have seen horse and horse fight. Dog and dog fight. Human and human fight... but what about horse, dog, AND human. Yha, I would imagine it's rare.
It all happened one nice... no... freezing day when I was walking thru the stable at about eleven am to pick up the mail. Marvel had been gone on a vacation to my sisters house to recover from the paw injury he got. (We have no clue how he did... he just walked in one day with the bottom of his paw shaved off. It was horrible. He still has to wear a cone.) Their was a new filly that arrived the day he left, so of course, being the smart dog that he is, realized that she was new and stopped to day hi. He gave a quiet yip as he walked up to her. She had her head hanging over the stall door, and when she saw him she threw her head up and pinned back her ears. Marvel, confused by this, gave another small yip. She took a step forward and bared her teeth in his face. When he did not move, she took a snap for him. He jumped back just in time to miss the nip, and he sure did look surprised! Pretty soon we had a yapping dog, a snapping horse and me trying to separate them. It all ended when I yelled(disobeying my own stable rules 'no yelling'), "STOP! NOW!" One of the stable boys came running in and asked me if everything was fine. Marley and Miracle had been shocked to hear me yell and took to their sides of the isle, shying in the corner. I told him everything was OK, but when he waked out his face looked like, 'crazy woman'.... whatever. I get called that too many times in my life to care. Haha. To tell you the truth; I love it!
