What is a Kora?
A Kora is a cat-like creature with a mane beginning on the top of the head and ending at the base of the tail. They have large paws with retractable claws for fast running and strong climbing. Koras have long tails somewhat resembling that of a lion. Koras always have rounded ears and short, coarse fur. Koras always have spots; usually many of them. They may have less than usual, but they will always be there, for they are necessary for camouflage. Koras are usually earth-toned to blend into their surroundings, although a recent phenomenon has caused bright, or sometimes neon colors to show up in their fur. These Koras don't usually survive long in the wild, so they are often kept as pets.

{I believe this lovely Kora's name will be Nympha, such as a water nymph. For short, she will most likely be called Nym, easy and one syllable. Whenever I hear the word nymph, I immediately think of water nymphs, and because she has such a beautiful water coat, why not stick with the theme?
Gender;
{I think this Kora looks more feminine. While a male could pull it off, it just looks better as a female; that is my own opinion of course!
Why I love streams;
{I love streams because one, they are often found out in the woods and are most often around nature, not covered in roads and car bridges like rivers are, and not as highly populated as oceans, and two, though they're small, they support enough life to be interesting. They are small and beautiful in their own ways, often crystal clear and shallow so you can see the bottom as easily as if there were no water there, and plenty of room for little animals to frolic in and drink from.

Out of all the water forms out there, the sea is my favorite. One reason is because of the colors of the sea.I absolutely love the light blues, teals and also dark blues that can be found in the And looking at this Kora, that was the first thing I though of, the sea. Also there is such a large variety of animals "under the sea." The vast, open sea also has quite the calming effect as well.
