Flare is a huge flirt and is constantly trying to get a mare's attention. It's pretty much all he ever does when he's not competing. When having one on one time with his rider he's a dream. He's extremely attentive, and works very hard when there are minimal distractions. But if there's a mare he happens to take an interest in nearby, it's very hard to regain his attention. In general, he's a well liked stallion. Problem is, he knows this, and goes everywhere with an extra skip in his step. He's arrogant, cocky, over-confident, and just plain annoying. But deep down he's got a heart of gold and cares deeply for his loved ones.

Why Do You Want Him?

In my time hanging around CW I've learned that I tend to take quite a liking to silvers, so naturally, this guy caught my eye as soon as I saw his picture. I'm always looking to build up my herd and I thought I'd like to add him in! Seriously he's striking!

What Will You Use Him For?

Nice use of a GIF, eh? XD But seriously, just look at this boy and give me one good reason to not take him everywhere and show him off? I'd gladly enter him into many competitions, and you'd see many foals from him. He's. Just. So. Handsome.

Personality: This beauty of a stallion is first and foremost a gentle and well mannered companion. Second, he is charismatic and has such personality to him. Third, he has a spark of life most other horses don't quite possess. Fourth, he is playful and adventurous. And lastly, this gorgeous thing is a wonderful horse for riding, and loves the trails and herding/roping cattle.
Why do you want him?: For one, Silver Bay and Blood Bay are two of my most favorite colors, but Silver Bay is more so because it's just such a gorgeous color. When I saw him, it was like I just knew in my mind that I had to have him. He came into my field of view, and I thought This is the one. And, he just has such charisma and personality, the look in his eye just says it all. So, I find him to be a fine horse, and he could be quite the companion.
What will you use him for?: I may use him for stories, and I'm gonna take him home and love him! (Gotta get back into writing stories, so I probably definitely will be using him for them)

The stallion had just awoken from his state of slumber, eyes blinking open to take in the morning sun, and ears perking and swiveling at all the sounds. He was outside in the field, the morning dew sparkling on the grass as the sun was just touching the sky with it's golden brilliance. He stood to his hooves rather faster, swinging his head round to check up on things, then settled down a little bit and swished his tail from one side to the other. The hairs were as silver threads, long and beautifully shining and glimmering under the sun. He perked his ears at a sound, and took off down the slope, finding a frightened little girl, all rosy cheeked and shivering cold. He noticed that she had a mane of red, sweet smelling and more rich in color then even his coat. But the red was faintly dulling from its luster because of the snow, which he now noticed was all over the ground. He nudged the little red head, and got her up to her feet after a brief tiny struggle and bit of squeaking. He knelt down and got her onto his back, searching around til he found some sort of trail, and it led him down to a ranch nestled into the hillside. He whinnied as he broke into a trot, gentle and slow for the 'filly' on his back. The two legged adults came running, and he let her slide to the ground and backed away. He snorted softly as the child cried "Orsey, orsey! Stay! Mine...?" He snorted and snapped his head up and down lightly, as though he might be agreeing. And so he learned to live with the humans, and the little girl, now grown quite a bit, has been his constant companion since.

'I was five years old when I wandered away from the ranch in the hillside. I was so young, I had no idea that I was doing anything wrong in this. I didn't realize the danger I was putting myself in. I didn't realize how upset I was making my parents, sick with worry. I toddled out into the two or three feet of freshly fallen snow, to a horse or an older human it was no challenge, but to me it was a bit difficult. I of course had my fur trimmed little pink coat, but it wasn't zipped or anything, and so in about 10 minutes I was freezing, and my teeth chattering. I must have begun to fall asleep there in the snow at some point, because the next thing I knew there was this beautiful horse standing over me. I struggled just the slightest, then allowed the stallion to get me up, and soon I was on his back. I drifted off a bit, and soon we were back at the ranch. I saw him beginning to back away, and made a plea to him. It comes almost as a surprise that he actually stayed. And all these years we have been together. When I look back on it now, I think that he was sent as a Guardian Angel of sorts. For, without him, I would have froze to death out there. He must have known that I was going to go into sleep, and if I did I would have never woken up. He is my first and greatest love.'

Other: Silva has a small bell that hangs from a ribbon, and he often is seen wearing it around his neck.
