Story: I was born in the mountains, I called them my home, a lovely valley, lush with green, green grass and wildflowers, all the wonderful smells. I ran and played there with so many, many friends. And then, those humans came. I will never forget that day. They chased my herd, capturing and igniting a flame of terror within us all. Foals, seperated from their mothers, mares, seperated from sisters and brothers, stallions, all shoved together in a tiny cramped space. And we tried to fight them, but it was no use. Thirsty and hungry, many finally sucame to them. But not I, I stayed strong. And then, the ropes and weight came, and they tried to break me. I reared and bucked, whirled and kicked. And all of the sudden, there was this tiny red haired creature smelling of flowers. At first, I backed away and stared at her, and she me, just watching. She didn't move too fast or speak too harsh. She brought treats, and soon shed earned my trust enough I'd come closer to listen to her sing. And then, she took my rope and I jumped back. But she didn't pull, she waited for me to come to her. She flicked me away gently with the rope time and again. And I grew curious, and at some point I began to follow her around the ring. And then I bumped gently up against her, and blew at her in the sign of friendship. It's called the joining up technique. And now? Now, I live with the beauty and we ride all over together, free, free as the wind.
