Jingles are small energetic creatures with a secret love for cuddling. Although they are most commonly known for snacking tender sweet fruits, Jingles are omnivores and are quite capable of digesting meat. These creatures are known for their hostility and or fear of species outside of their own, and unless raised otherwise, typically don't interact with other animals. Although they are not known to hoard, Jingles have an unexplained attraction to shiny objects. (Such as bells, coins, gems, etc.)

I'm kind of quiet. I like to blend in. Other than the bell, I don't make much noise. In the dark, I can slink around fairly quietly. But sometimes you can catch a glimmer of my golden spots. I feel really flattered when the little fireflies nuzzle my flanks, because I feel like a part of their family. And they are beautiful, silent and fleeting, but they leave sparks in my heart. Like little fallen stars that leave little butterfly kisses on my skin and dance through the night. Sometimes they get really attached to the shine on my bell, and stay inside of it until they fade out. I like to pretend they're sleeping, but I am not that naive. I make them little boats out of leaves and float them down a river the night after they die. The stars always seem like they are drowning in the reflection of that river. And those little fireflies deserve to return to the stars. So yes, I am pretty quiet, and not the largest. But I like to believe that I am loud enough to sing with the gurgling river, and big enough to dance along with the stars.

Hey there! Glad you're here.

So today was...interesting. It was as if I was living in my dream land.

First of all, everyone followed what I said for them to do. Without any second thought, they raced to get whatever it was in an instant. This usually doesn't happen to me, and I don't understand.

Second, I was popular. POP-U-LAR. Now that is strange. I'm a simple tennis athlete, not a fancy shm'ancy high-class person. So that is something over the top. But it was nice to live for a day.

Third, I took my crush out on a date! She came up to me and asked if I could see "Thor" with her after school. And I did. It was great! I even found $20 extra for popcorn, sodas, and candies! Best night ever.

Alright, it's 1:08 AM here. I'm exausted. See you tomorrow!

Alexander woke up to the sound of birds singing outside. He rubbed his eyes and looked to his nightstand, seeing the very journal he wrote in...last night? Alex picked up up and looked for the entry, finding it easily.

"I did this in my dream! I wrote my dream in my dream!" He grinned happily and wagged his tail, making his bell jingle. "How great is that?!"
