You can do them whenever you have the time for it. NO rush. <3

3rd Breeding

Owner: .FrozenFire.
Link to Mother: Lovesick Diva
Link to Father: Paid the Devil
Name: I want to see first.
Do you want it to be drawn using foal lines, or adult lines? Adult

Sorry for the wait! Here he is, a Seal Bay Roan Brindle, as always I do the RNG and got a 99 out of 100 so I gave him a rare marking.
Blame is a coward but self-righteous
A funny little creature hiding out in me
Hate is power with a price tag
A funny little creature screaming out in me
Listen to me
Fear is a liar but he's been right before
If you fight your shadow, you'll get lost in a war
Ambitions a champ, but he's also greedy
Drunk or sober he always wants more
I always want more
I always want more
Lust is beauty in a body bag
A funny little thing that's screaming "Just use me!"

Brindle is really EXTREMELY unusual... even with a parent with brindle (which this boy has neither) but he's super purty. :3 Nice job Country!

Wow, he's so handsome!!!

Would I be able to steal a breeding sometime, Frozen? I understand if you want to keep a handsome boy like him for private breeding. ^-^

Genetic wise, it is possible as a genetic mutation, even without a parent being brindle. It is normally not passed down to the offspring. I had a long discussion yesterday where I'm "working", with the owner of the only western ridden horse there. That is a brindle quarter horse mare and neither of her parents were brindle. I don't remember everything, because I got too much information yesterday. XD
But surely that mare is pretty. My first real life brindle.

And since it's you Immy, you may steal one breeding. :3
But I want to approve the mare first, so tell me which one you have in mind

Oh yes, brindle is normally a mutation. That's what I meant when I said it was very very unusual- much more so than 1 out of a 100. more like 1 in hundreds of thousands. ;3 He's gorgeous though!

Hmm, after flicking through my catalogue of mares, I've decided on Russet Leaves, if the breeding is permitted. Not sure if she carries any agouti and/or silver dapple alleles, but the foal is definitely going to be an appaloosa (snowcaps are homozygous on the Lpn locus). Not sure if the Ptn2 alleles will be inherited though, so it could either be a varnish roan or a blanket appy, like its mummy. What do you think? :3

I'll stop spamming, sorry Frozen. XD

Oh yes, Russet carries agouti. Her daddy was a bay, in my books. XD No silver though.

No problem Seren, we all learn from each other don't we? :3
I don't mind that. Brindle is really extremely rare and it is a point to discuss wether or not it is passed down. There are so many genes which remain secret in horses... :3

And Immy, you may breed Russet to Babalou. :3

Thank you! I'll wait to breedings and customs re-open! ^u^
