Ciel, Meaning Blue, heaven and sky in French

Ciel is a bold Pseudodargon, always exploring the limits of her small inside world. She can be very vocal about things that she likes and dislikes greatly. She is also very cuddly and loves any and all attention given to her. Ciel can be quite vain as well, posing just right do that the light reflects perfectly off of her beautifully colored scales. Some may call her a tomboy but those beings don't know her that well.

Ciel hurred softly to herself, her tiny little claws scrabbling against the dresser wood as she struggled to climb on top. She was determined to explore this big wooden thing, for sure! A pair of big hands wrapped around her sinuous body, making her startle until they gently detached her fierce claw-hold and set her on the surface she was striving towards. She snorted lightly when the hands retreated to rest on the edge of the dresser. Ciel looked up at her new owner, a tallish but young female human with brown hair. She girl smiled when she noticed Ciel looking at her, and gently stroked the fluff down Ciels neck.
She's okay. I like her. I like the name she gave me too. The place I grew up in sure smelled weird, but this place is totally better. Ciel thought, humming happily at the contact. She quickly skittered away to investigate a silvery flat thing that she had just noticed. Looking up, the little dragon saw that it went up as high as her human's head, and was...shiny, that was the word.
Looking back in front of her Ciel jumped when she noticed another dragon in front of her. The dragon jumped in time with her, making her puff smoke out of her nose in fear while it reacted in the same way. Who was this creature? This invader within her home, her territory!? Ciel blinked, and something inside her clicked on as the dragon blinked as well. Was this her reflection? To test her new theory, she placed a single paw on the silvery surface, watching the other dragon do the same while she did so. Tapping her claws on the mirror and continuing to watch, Ciel decided that the dragon was definitely her.
With her fears abated, the little pesudodragon puffed out her chest, preening in front of the mirror and turning her head about to make her scales sparkle. Night chucked quietly from above, watching the little creature. She had adopted the little dragon from a pet store of most shady disposition. Ciel, as she was now called, was seemingly happy with her new home, and must have put the memories behind her about the small cages and inhumane conditions of the store. Night sighed as the little dragon flicked out her tongue to her paw, shining up a scale that wasn't quite as perfect as the others. Ciel certainly had a harsh life before, but hopefully she would be able to help the little dragon make it better.
Hey hey, good luck to everyone else who enters!
