Why do you want them?:
They are adorable, and I would love them to become part of my little herd. I just hope the other horses would be welcoming enough to let them in. Anyway, I think the Filly is a wonderful girl, and I can say the same for the handsome colt. I think they both deserve to go to a nice home where they will be welcomed and loved. I know if I even got one of these splendid foals, they would be spoiled and showered in love <3
History:
Two gorgeous foals were born at a welcoming barn in the fall. It was October 14th; Thanksgiving Day. For the first few days of their lives they were showered with love, and they were never frowned upon. The news got across that these twin foals were born, and over the course of the week many people came to see them. Whether they were sleeping alongside their mother or toppling over each other in the field, they were always loved and smiled upon.
It was a nice sunny afternoon, and the foals were sleeping in the field, sprawled out over each other. The foals didn't know it, but today, all the people around would come to see them. They had grown famous across the small town, and today was the day that the townspeople would come to see them at a week old. At about 2 O'clock pm, the people started crowding in. The gravel road was packed with cars and trucks, of all shapes and sizes. The people were walking around the barn, meeting the other horses, and of course, looking for the foals. The two were in the back field, cocking their heads at the amount of people coming in and crowding the barn. Some time later their owner -A tall girl, about 16 years old- came and took them out of the field, and walked them along to the front of the barn. The people gasped and smiled, holding their hands up in joy as the two foals were put in the front field, for all to see.
The twins were tired after the day before. The people came and petted them, and gave them carrots and apples. Yet the colt didn't like all the attention and would shy away from any people that came near him. Yet the filly loved it. Oh, what a glorious day that was! But the good times were not meant to last. As the weeks went by, the little foals got less and less popular, as they were growing up. Apparently the townspeople only liked foals. By now the foals had abandoned their unnecessary fun and reckless games, though they still played with each other. They had grown up, and often the filly would pick on her brother.
The colt was getting rather jealous of his sister, as she was the 'perfect' little filly. All the people loved her, not him. He was the odd one out. He tried to play with his sister, but all she would do was tease him and bite him. As the foals grew older, their personalities and attitude never changed. They had gone to the vet a couple times, and the vet had confirmed the little filly was blind. They had no explanation, though the vet thinks she was probably born that way, we just couldn't tell.
The foals were there for another couple months, before the owner had to sell them. They went to their new homes, but got out and ran away, ready for a new taste of adventure. The two were found by the SPCA, and taken there to be treated. They were there for a few weeks until it was confirmed they could be put up for adoption. Within a few weeks, there were already people asking about adopting them, until they were adopted on a rainy spring afternoon. There was the clip and the clop of their small hooves and the swish of their fluffy tails as they were loaded into the trailer. They whinnied a final goodbye as the door closed, blocking off the outside world.
This is where their story ends, and begins.
FOAL ONE:
Name:
My Little Angel {Angel}
Gender:
Filly
Coloration:
Bay Tovero
Personality:
Angel is a sweet filly. She had a very big heart, and could never hurt a soul. She also loves her brother, more than you would think siblings love each other. She loves running around the field, usually being chased by her brother. She's a pretty filly; She's been told by many of the people that have gotten the chance to look at her. Her brother, though, doesn't get much attention. She was always the favourite of the two. She could jump higher, run faster, and outsmart her brother. Her brother was definitely getting jealous, but she never payed any attention to him. She still doesn't, though she's getting better.
