ѕтσяу

She lived deep in the forest in a tiny cottage and sold herbal remedies for a living. Folks living in the town nearby called her Bloody Mary, and said she was a witch. None dared cross the old crone for fear that their cows would go dry, their food-stores rot away before winter, their children take sick of fever, or any number of terrible things that an angry witch could do to her neighbors.
Then the little girls in the village began to disappear, one by one. No one could find out where they had gone. Grief-stricken families searched the woods, the local buildings, and all the houses and barns, but there was no sign of the missing girls. A few brave souls even went to Bloody Mary's home in the woods to see if the witch had taken the girls, but she denied any knowledge of the disappearances. Still, it was noted that her haggard appearance had changed. She looked younger, more attractive. The neighbors were suspicious, but they could find no proof that the witch had taken their young ones.
Then came the night when the daughter of the miller rose from her bed and walked outside, following an enchanted sound no one else could hear. The miller's wife had a toothache and was sitting up in the kitchen treating the tooth with an herbal remedy when her daughter left the house. She screamed for her husband and followed the girl out of the door. The miller came running in his nightshirt. Together, they tried to restrain the girl, but she kept breaking away from them and heading out of town.
The desperate cries of the miller and his wife woke the neighbors. They came to assist the frantic couple. Suddenly, a sharp-eyed farmer gave a shout and pointed towards a strange light at the edge of the woods. A few townsmen followed him out into the field and saw Bloody Mary standing beside a large oak tree, holding a magic wand that was pointed towards the miller's house. She was glowing with an unearthly light as she set her evil spell upon the miller's daughter.
The townsmen grabbed their guns and their pitchforks and ran toward the witch. When she heard the commotion, Bloody Mary broke off her spell and fled back into the woods. The far-sighted farmer had loaded his gun with silver bullets in case the witch ever came after his daughter. Now he took aim and shot at her. The bullet hit Bloody Mary in the hip and she fell to the ground. The angry townsmen leapt upon her and carried her back into the field, where they built a huge bonfire and burned her at the stake.
As she burned, Bloody Mary screamed a curse at the villagers. If anyone mentioned her name aloud before a mirror, she would send her spirit to revenge herself upon them for her terrible death. When she was dead, the villagers went to the house in the wood and found the unmarked graves of the little girls the evil witch had murdered. She had used their blood to make her young again.
From that day to this, anyone foolish enough to chant Bloody Mary's name three times before a darkened mirror will summon the vengeful spirit of the witch. It is said that she will tear their bodies to pieces and rip their souls from their mutilated bodies. The souls of these unfortunate ones will burn in torment as Bloody Mary once was burned, and they will be trapped forever in the mirror.

All These Things That I've Done- The Killers
When there's nowhere else to run
Is there room for one more son
One more son
If you can hold on
If you can hold on, hold on
I want to stand up, I want to let go
You know, you know - no you don't, you don't
I want to shine on in the hearts of men
I want a meaning from the back of my broken hand

Another head aches, another heart breaks
I am so much older than I can take
And my affection, well it comes and goes
I need direction to perfection, no no no no

Help me out
Yeah, you know you got to help me out
Yeah, oh don't you put me on the backburner
You know you got to help me out

And when there's nowhere else to run
Is there room for one more son
These changes ain't changing me
The cold-hearted boy I used to be

Yeah, you know you got to help me out
Yeah, oh don't you put me on the backburner
You know you got to help me out
You're gonna bring yourself down
Yeah, you're gonna bring yourself down
Yeah, you're gonna bring yourself down

I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier

Yeah, you know you got to help me out
Yeah, oh don't you put me on the backburner
You know you got to help me out
You're gonna bring yourself down
You're gonna bring yourself down
Yeah, oh don't you put me on the backburner
Yeah, you're gonna bring yourself down
Yeah, you're gonna bring yourself down

Over and again, last call for sin
While everyone's lost, the battle is won
With all these things that I've done
All these things that I've done
(Time, truth, hearts)
If you can hold on
If you can hold on

Short Story:

*~*~*Gold Fever*~*~*
This is the story of how El Dorado became crazy for gold...

It was 5 years ago, a foggy April morning, it was 21th of the month and it had just finished raining. Dark clouds still covered the sky but they were lightening up and clearing out. El Dorado was out in the pasture grazing with his companions when he spotted something the grass. Ears perked he stared at the strange object moving his head to get a better look. The light hit it causing it to shine. The stallion jumped back sneezing on it. The other horses ignored him since he was always a little off. El Dorado pawed at the golden circle angerly stomping by it. Glaring at it he carefuly gnawed at the grass around it trying to pick it up. Grabing ahould of the golden cirle he held tight trotting over to the fence head held high. He stood waiting for one of the humans to stop and look at what he had. Hours went by and nobody stopped till the sun started going down and the last bit of sunlight hitting it causinga golden beam of light to shine from it. The old farmer slowly stoped and gently grabbed the coin, El Dorado let go willingly. Looking closely at it the Old Man's jaw dropped "Hun! Get over here! El Dorado found a Gold Coin!" He shouted tacking off to find his wife. Brushing off the human's excitement he went back to grazing.

The next morning the Old Man and Old Women came jogging through the field with other people following them holding black boxed on their shoulders. El Dorado looked up at the strange sight and when to get a closer look. The other horses kept their distance. "That's him, he is the Gold Sniffing Horse!" The Old Man said pointing at the horse. El Dorado snorted at the new people as he sniffed the black boxes on their shoulders. A man holding a wierd looking stick looked at the boxes and started to talk. El Dorado heard his name several times. Sticking his head at the front of the black box he smell it. The new humans laughed patting his shoulder. The old man hooked a lead up to his halter and walked him deeper into the field. El Dorado put his head down grazing as they walked. After awhile he stopped. Another one of those gold circles laid infront of his nose. Snorting at it he worked at the grass gnawing it away before he could pick up the coin. Bobbing his head he flashed the coin. The Old Women clapped as she saw the coin "Good job El Dorado!" She said taking the coin "See! We can smell it!" She said at the black box. The Paint Stallion didn't really understand what was so important about the circles but if it made the humans happy it made him happy to.

The next day El Dorado awoke to the sight of people lining the outside of the field. Strange but he didn't mind the attention as he went around and greeted every person. The other horses didn't understand why he was so eager to get so close to unkown people. He just had a good vibe about them all. Once he was finished saying hello to all of them he went back to grazing. Slowly moving along he stopped, one of the stupid gold circles laying on top of a patch of clover. Gnawing at the clover he adventually picked up the coin. Marching back to the fence he whinnied for the Old Man and Old Women who came running. Quickly the Old Man took the coin "Good Boy." He said patting the horse. Every gasped and cheered, El Dorado didn't understand it but he just played along pracing in circles as he whinnied tossing his head. Once all the noise had died down he wnt back to grazing. His mind wondered to where these coins where coming from. He hadn't a clue but he planed on finding more to continue makng his humans happy. Curious he ventured to the far corners of the field looking but finding none, it was just that one spot. Happily making his way back to it he saw that as he got closer the other horses moved farther away. Slowing down they stopped, when he started to gallop so did they. He didn't understand, why were his friends moving away? Getting the message he hung his head and turned wondering off to far left corner.

The next day the other horses had moved away from where he was finding the coins. Trotting happily back to the hill he put his head down. Slowly grazing as she moved along he found another coin, looking around before he picked it up. Where were they coming from? The question was forever on his mind. Walking back over the fence where people were still standing, waiting to get a glimpse of the Gold-Sniffing Horse. Waiting patiently for the farmer he bobbed his head showing off the coin to the people. After a few minuets the farmers came rushing outside, this time they were in new fancier clothes. Odd, but he didn't mind their new look, carefully dropping the coin into their hand he received a treat. Eating the sugar cube before he wondered off into the pasture. He could still hear the people cheering about his discovery and some people yelling that it was fake. He surely didn't know if it was fake or real but he knew that it was good. Day had gone by, but he only ever found one or two coins a day. He could tell the lack of coins was making everyone slightly frustraded. Ignoring it he kept on grazing, just waiting to find a coin.

It has been months since the first coin, by then the farmers had fixed their house, bought new machines, a new trucks, a new trailer, and many new outfits. This was all grand and everything but El Dorado and the other horses weren't getting fed like usual. At most five days a week they were given feed, their stalls hadn't been cleans, they hadn't been bathed, and some were in need of a farier. Seeing what the money and gold was doing to the farmers he had a plan. One sunny day he found the first coin of the day and wiated by the fence. Like normal the Old Farmer went into the fence to get it, when he went to grab it El Dorado took a few steps back. Chuckling the farmer grabbed his halter and went to grab it when El Dorado dropped it and stepped on it. Grumbling he bent down to grab it only to have El Dorado reach down and move his hoof and pick it back up. Turning the stallion pranced off with the gold. The other horses were confussed till they saw where he was going. Quickly the small heard joined in on El Dorado's games. They would all pass the coin around confussing the farmer till they got the stables. As normal all the people followed and saw what the stables looked like. No food, no water, dirty stalls, dirty horses. El Dorado stood in the dirty stall with a wise look apon his face. When the two farmers look around you could see the sorrow of their face. Reaching his head out he dropped the coin in the farmers hand. The stallion gave them a 'Now... what will you do with that?' look.

The next day all the horses had clean stalls, hooves trimed, all horses were clean, had food and water. El Dorado had brought the farmer back to reality. He still is finding gold coins but will put them in stalls of each horse, reminding the farmers that they should spend the money on bettering the lives of others, not just theirs.

The End...

Theme Song
Title: El Dorado
By: Elton John

Our glorious city
Was build by the divinities, by Gods
Who saw fit to bestow the gift of a paradise
Peaceful and harmonious upon us
Mere mortals below

And made El Dorado
The magnificent and golden
One thousand years ago

El Dorado, El Dorado, El Dorado

But all this was granted for only one millennium
I know my legacy is to fulfill
My promise to all my people
Who have trusted me, the Gods
Will approve of us still

Preserve El Dorado
The magnificent and golden
And I believe they will

El Dorado, El Dorado, El Dorado
El Dorado, El Dorado, El Dorado

The mountains so high and waters deep
Are her disguise
Her secrets are safe from foreign hands
And eyes forever

Preserve El Dorado
The magnificent and golden
And I believe they will

El Dorado, El Dorado, El Dorado
El Dorado, El Dorado, El Dorado

El Dorado, El Dorado, El Dorado
El Dorado, El Dorado, El Dorado

Blame is a coward but self-righteous
A funny little creature hiding out in me
Hate is power with a price tag
A funny little creature screaming out in me
Listen to me
Fear is a liar but he's been right before
If you fight your shadow, you'll get lost in a war
Ambitions a champ, but he's also greedy
Drunk or sober he always wants more
I always want more
I always want more
Lust is beauty in a body bag
A funny little thing that's screaming "Just use me!"

Well as soon as I saw him, his name was pumpkin.
I chose Pumpkin Pie because the white represents whipped cream on top

Why add Poisoned? It has a great ring to it in my opinion!

Pumpkin is a hard working horse. He is determined but playful at times. He usually takes children out in little carts so he is taught to be sensible and calm. He is protective and kind to ones he loves and ones he loves and ones he is taught to protect. He likes foals and hopes to have them, but is to scared to approach mares. He never nips, kicks or rears but will flatten his ears to show he disagrees. He is not a curious horse and won't venture off, mainly when with the children as he knows he must protect them. When he needs to do something sudden he will usually whinny to warn people so he doesn't scare or hurt them.

I chose to try out for this boy because of his colors. His mane and tail fit perfectly with his coat, and his face is so cute! As soon as I saw him I knew that I must have him!<3 He will be used for breeding and I will put him up for stud so everyone can use this beautiful boy.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
нιsтσяү;;
Pretty simple history. He was born on a stud farm and sold to one of the richest family's around then stolen by a man from the village, but rescued by an old lady who found his owners.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
sтσяү;;
Pumpkin left the gate carrying the cart down the drive. He was carrying a little girl called Milly who around 7-8 who was his owners only daughter, so she was very special. The girl held on tight as he started to speed up and turned onto the road. He trotted down along the road with many other carts and carriages passing, when he noticed an old parked carriage in the distance an old seal brown horse stood alone on the two horse carriage, obviously exhausted. Pumpkin could make out a man watching them. He whinnied at the girl signaling that he was speeding up, and he broke into a canter.

The village was very crowded and put pumpkin on edge, so he kept the girl in his vision at all times. She was walking him along with the reins when she saw the stall of vegetables. "That's what I need!" she said, releasing the reins from her grip and running towards the stall. Pumpkin was left alone in the crowd for at least ten minutes before a man came and grabbed his reins, pulling him to the clearing outside of the village. He whinnied in distress and flattened his ears, not daring to nip. He tried to struggle away as he put him on the carriage next to the old horse. She snickered to greet him. He muzzled her and screamed for Milly. He was pulled onto the road but he refused to move. The driver snapped a whip on his rump and he bolted forward, obeying their every command.

He was let into a small paddock with the mare and moped around for the rest of the day, screeching for Milly. He started running along the fence line until he literally couldn't move. The man came out yelling at him and hitting him with a whip. He leaned against the fence, mentally and physically hurt when he heard a whisper from the bushes. "Horsey... Horsey." he whinnied and threw his head up in excitement. An old lady came out and gently petted his face. "Come now," she said quietly, gripping his halter and walking him to the gate. He walked him out and into the bush.

He stuffed his head into the bucket, finishing off the food. He galloped in the large field for hours playing with the little pony, Flower. "Pumpkin!" yelled a familiar voice. He turned to see Milly standing there with her father. he ran up and buried his head into her chest and she hugged him back. "Thank you so much!" she said to the old lady.

мүтн
The myth of the assassin was passed through the village. It started like this:
A local man was not earning enough for his family. He had a wife and three kids that he had to feed. He decided to make a living of taking peoples lives and he had that job for five years, when a very large job came through.

Local Assassin,
I am in need of an important and dangerous job.
I would like for it to be completed as soon as you
receive this message. I would like you to kill the
King with an untraceable poison.

The message came with a bag of money, adding up to $7,000. The man set off to the castle that night and climbed the walls with a rope. He entered the maze of halls until he found the royal kitchen, where he raided the cupboards. He removed a number of things, including an apple, a knife and a slice of pumpkin pie. He walked the halls and eventually found solid gold double doors. He placed the poison in the slice of pie and knocked on the door. He fled for the stables, as quickly and quietly as he could. He hid in one of the royal carriages and was lead out into the forest, where they stopped to check the people in the carriage. The assassin quickly ran to the front and unequipped a stunning stallion and mounted him. They set of in a canter towards the depths of the forest and out the other side, eventually reaching his home village. The next day word was out about the King who had died of a heart attack. Further investigation led to the assassin and he was executed, now him and his horse roam the kingdoms, poisoning all the pumpkins they come across.

Lanterns by Birds of Tokyo

I chose this song but didn't have time to look up what it meant. BUT, I am pretty sure it's about some people taking action to get their opinion in... So I chose it because of his determination.

Lately I've found
When I start to think aloud
There's a longing in the sound
There is more I could be
In darkness I leave
For a place I've never seen
It's been calling out to me
That is where I should be

We never carried days on our own
But now it's up to us to know
The weight of being so much more
We will find ourselves on the road

On we march
With a midnight song
We will light our way
With our lanterns on
On we march
Till we meet the dawn
We will light our way
With our lanterns on

As we walk out
Without question, without doubt
In the light that we have found
It is finally clear
Our day has come
And we'll stand for who we are
We are ready, we are young
We have nothing to fear

We never carried days on our own
But now it's up to us to know
The weight of being so much more
We will find ourselves on the road

On we march
With a midnight song
We will light our way
With our lanterns on
On we march
Till we meet the dawn
We will light our way
With our lanterns on

We held the light
To our faces
And realised
We were chasing
Shadows behind
Not worth saving
So burn it bright
Forever illuminating

On we march
With a midnight song
We will light our way
With our lanterns on
On we march
Till we meet the dawn
We will light our way
With our lanterns on
[x2]

In darkness I leave
For a place I've never seen
It's been calling out to me
That is where I should be

Good luck to everyone! I am beyong nervous!
Blame is a coward but self-righteous
A funny little creature hiding out in me
Hate is power with a price tag
A funny little creature screaming out in me
Listen to me
Fear is a liar but he's been right before
If you fight your shadow, you'll get lost in a war
Ambitions a champ, but he's also greedy
Drunk or sober he always wants more
I always want more
I always want more
Lust is beauty in a body bag
A funny little thing that's screaming "Just use me!"

Congrats! This was a close call. and I mean a CLOSE call. I ultimately selected this form for two reasons: 1. The breed choices. and 2. The name. While I felt the story, however, didn't really pertain to the stallion- but that's okay. I said he was to be based off of the best name.

I Really Liked Coloré's form. While I really enjoyed the form, ultimately the breed choice was what turned me away from it. ( I love Andys, don't get me wrong. But, I was unable to locate any 'proof' of Andys having colorations like this-unless they were crossbred.

So, Congrats to Leftinggg!

Coloré - you have been selected as a runner up. For this I will honor a free Custom-when they are once again available, and it shall be discussed over PM.

Thanks to everyone who entered!
