This is a somatic bay, in case you were wondering. Some of the genes for pigment got switched off in places, so without the pigment in the hairs, those places are now white. This cannot be passed down genetically, I'm afraid. ^^
The reference picture is of one of the most famous somatic horses, an Arabian mare named Clicker. SerenWish was actually the first to tell me about her, back when I did my first CTS horse based off this exact reference photo. ^^
Breeding Ref. for Artists: Bay (with 'non-passable' somatic markings. Heterozygous for E/e and homozygous for A/A.
