Centehua, Tehu for short (Aztec for "only one")
Tehu is 2 1/2 years old, making her still a filly but becoming a young adult horse.
45% Appaloosa, 30% Gypsy Vanner, 15% Hackney, 10% Lusitano
Tehu is a very adventurous young mare, always getting into things and driving the other horses insane. She loves to try new things and never backs out of anything her friends dare her to do. However she does have her issues, she can be a very self-loving showoff girl as well, sometimes she even feels as though no one can better than her. Don't question her or you may get a lecture or much worse, a hoof to the jaw depending on what exactly you tell her is incorrect. Even though she can be a snooty "better than you" mare sometimes, her compassion and love for others overcomes it by far.
Tehu was born to a small herd living in the rocky plains of Nevada. Her father - a tall white gracious stallion - was the leader, and everyone looked up to him for his power and wits. While her mother - a heavier built brown spotted mare - was of much less status than her father, but he loved her all the same. Tehu's father would take her on trips through the mountains near her home, so she would become familiar with the world around her. Two years pasted and Tehu was a grown mare - well in her herd she was considered grown - and her father believed she should find a mate, but Tehu refused, she didn't wish to be tied down by a stallion. This enraged her father, as it was a tradition in her herd to find a mate once you reached two years of age, he did not approve of her decision and said he will find a mate for her then. Annoyed and maddened by her father's ignorance, Tehu ran from her home in hopes of finding a better place to live; somewhere where she could chose the time when she was going to choose a mate.
After running for over four hours, Tehu settled under a rocky outlook for the night. When the sun had risen over the horizon she got up and yawned, it was a new day, time to get moving. Starting at a slow pace Tehu trotted across the rocks that covered the small path she had been following, carefully stepping over the bigger ones. After a long while of walking her hooves ached and she was thirsty, hungry, and lonely. "I don't like being......alone.." she muttered out loud.
"What would make you think you were alone?" called a voice from a distance away, a stallion by the sound. Tehu tensed up, nervous as could be she called out.
"Who's there! Show yourself!" she was poised, ready to dash away from the voice at any moment. A young stallion, around her age by the looks of it, pranced out from behind a large boulder a few feet away. A large grin covered his face seeing her standing like that.
"Nervous much?" he joked, as she rolled her eyes, "I'm Fyrrinas" he beamed, proud of his name, "or just Fyrrin, you know for short."
"Fyrrinas......" she muffled under her breath, that name seemed familiar in an eerie way; "Uh nice to meet you, I'm Centehua, but everyone calls me Tehu"
"The Centehua?" his mouth fell open in an awkward way.
"The one and only" she mocked, swishing her tail; he closed his mouth and a giant grin covered his face.
"I've missed you," he chimed "your Monty's daughter, right?"
"How do you know my father's name, how do you know who I am, who are you!" she snorted trying to act fierce, even though she was shaking inside, who was this horse?
"You don't remember me?" his smile disappeared as he was saddened by the fact she had forgotten him.
"Um well your name seemed familiar, but yet not completely there, no I don't remember you." she neighed. His eyes went wide with confusion, as he plopped down on the ground.
"Sit," he commanded, "and I'll tell you everything I remember about you."
Tehu sat down on the ground, her eyes fixed on Fyrrin, she was ready to listen. "Well it all started when you were born, it was so exciting, a new filly in my herd! I couldn't wait to meet you. I just knew we were going to be the best of friends, maybe even a little more when we got older." he grinned, and she flipped her head around waiting for him to continue, "Anyway, eventually I got to talk to you, we played tag quite a few times; but your father didn't like you being around stallions at such a young age, so I didn't get to see you often. I mean, we did become great friends though, hanging out all the time, you know when your father wasn't around. Then one day, I went to talk to you and your father saw me, bit me right in the middle of my neck and threw me far from you then charged up to me and said I was banished from the herd for not obeying his command to stay away from you." his eyes went dark as he remembered that day, then he pulled his mane away from his neck with his head and a long scar was revealed, "That's where your father bit me, was very deep and caused a scar. So after I was banished, I began my journey to find a new home. I ended up here, that boulder makes a nice shelter and there a grassy area with a pond just beyond that." he stopped talking, climbed to his feet and walked off towards the boulder, "C'mon" he whinnied to her and galloped away towards the rock. Believing she had just began her new life, Tehu got to her feet and followed Fyrrinas..... (I believe this is a good place to stop, kinda the end of a chapter if this was a book x3.)
A picture to fit this lovely lady.
This song just really fit her personality in my opinion, and makes me think of the fact that she doesn't need to be with her herd to survive anymore. ^_^
Ok so yes, this is a very big form and I'm sorry if it's too much. Just thought I would put a little more effort into it this time instead of slapping something down in about five minutes. x3
