xD I failed this section of algebra. Kind of wishing I paid more attention now. Here's my work lol:

Solution: I'm crazy for even trying this, I haven't done this in a long time. It is (I think, fingers crossed) x=52/(y-72) If you're solving for x. Hope that's right, he's a beautiful animal!!
Actually, maybe this:
If you're going to graph it you need to find y, and in order to get y by itself, your answer would be y=52/x + 72, opposite of finding x.
Work goes as follows (No pic :/)
56+x(2-y)=4-10x(3+4) Simplify
56+2x-xy=4-70x subtract 56 and 2x
-xy=52-72x divide by -x
y=52/x+72 :]

beautiful ;v;

Your Name: Mimi911
Horse's Name: Jace
Solution: It isn't actually fully solvable. So I just found the "root", or what X would equal to if Y was zero. It can work either way, I just chose to find X. C:
X = -0.72

simplify the equation as much as you can that will be the answer. I did not ask to solve for x or y XP though I suppose you could.

also little bump.

Your Name: Tundra
Horse's Name: Alkerio - no idea, it actually was random. Its pronounced Owl-Ker-e-o
Solution: 56 + 2x + -1xy = 4 + -70x <--simplified
52 + 72x + -1xy = 0 <-- Solved, which makes it undefined(I think, its been a few)

Work seen bellow
Equation: 56+x(2-y)=4-10x(3+4)

Simplifying the starting equation ( * = Multiply)
56 + x(2 + -1y) = 4 + -10x(3 + 4)
56 + (2 * x + -1y * x) = 4 + -10x(3 + 4)
56 + (2x + -1xy) = 4 + -10x(3 + 4)

Combine like terms: 3 + 4 = 7
56 + 2x + -1xy = 4 + -10x(7)

Reorder the terms for easier multiplication:
56 + 2x + -1xy = 4 + -10 * 7x

Multiply -10 * 7
56 + 2x + -1xy = 4 + -70x.

-----------------------------

To break it down further if we were to try and solve for x

Simplified
56 + 2x + -1xy = 4 + -70x

Solving
56 + 2x + -1xy = 4 + -70x

Solving for variable 'x'.

Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right.

Add '70x' to each side of the equation.
56 + 2x + 70x + -1xy = 4 + -70x + 70x

Combine like terms: 2x + 70x = 72x
56 + 72x + -1xy = 4 + -70x + 70x

Combine like terms: -70x + 70x = 0
56 + 72x + -1xy = 4 + 0
56 + 72x + -1xy = 4

Add '-56' to each side of the equation.
56 + 72x + -56 + -1xy = 4 + -56

Reorder the terms:
56 + -56 + 72x + -1xy = 4 + -56

Combine like terms: 56 + -56 = 0
0 + 72x + -1xy = 4 + -56
72x + -1xy = 4 + -56

Combine like terms: 4 + -56 = -52
72x + -1xy = -52

Reorder the terms:
52 + 72x + -1xy = -52 + 52

Combine like terms: -52 + 52 = 0
52 + 72x + -1xy = 0

The solution to this equation could not be determined.

Yeh I went overboard but hey, I wasn't sure EXACTLY what you were looking for.

Your Name: -3B-
Horse's Name: Rahama
Solution: y = 72 + (52/x)

How:
56 + x(2-y) = 4 - 10x(3-4)
56 + 2x - xy = 4 - 10x(7) 70x [Subtract; Distributive property and addition, then multiplication]
52 + 2x - xy = -70x [Subtract; Distributive property]
52 + 72x - xy = 0 [Subtract]
72x - xy + 52 = 0 [Some addition property [a+b=b+a]]
x(72-y) + 52 = 0 [Distributive property]
72-y = -52/x [Subtraction, then division]
-y = (-52/x) - 72 [Subtraction]
y = 72 + (52/x) [Multiply both sides by -1]
Without another equation, this is as far as I can go. If I had one, I could solve for one or the other variable, then plop them in and chug out a proper numerical answer. xD
