What is a Zorrarian Runner?

A Zorrarian Runner is a species native to the world of Zorra that resembles a canine. Runners can have nearly any color and pattern, though plain Runners are rarer. They are very agile and have great hearing due to their large ears. All Zorarrian Runners have horns and are born with their horns. There are three types of Zorrarian Runners: Forest Runners, Cloud Runners, and Plains Runners. The Cloud Runners sport feathered wings, the Plains Runners have long fur on their legs, and the Forest Runners have neither wings nor extra fur. Sometimes, a Zorrarian Runner is born with both wings and extra fur. This is rare and they are known as World Runners, since they are believed to represent the sky, the plains, and the forest. Sometimes, World Runners have strange abilities or powers, these powers can be discovered at birth or at some point in their life.

She is the opposite of Jax Frost. This girl can control fire and instead of having glowing markings, she can light her front paws and tail on fire since she controls fire.
She also has hair .3.

This is a free form contest, but there are a few requirements.

-Name. Simple, give her a fitting name.
-What is her relationship with Jax? Is he her friend, foe, crush? Be creative.
-Art. I would like to see at least one piece of art. It can be any form.

There are also a few categories that would give you bonus points.

-Personality. I want to be able to understand this girl without having to read a novel.
-How did she get the cuts/wounds in her ears? You can do anything with this, be it a story or a drawing, be creative~
-History. Remember, Runners live on the world of Zorra, not earth.

Ignis is quiet and shy ZR. She is a bit grumpy at times, but she can be kind at times. Ignis isn't the one to talk a lot, she is just a quiet ZR. She won't admit it, but she's a bit afraid of her fire, yet again loves it. Ignis just worries about burning others. She has a thing for Earth stories, Ignis finds them mystifying and different than some things on her home planet. As for that, she's quite passionate about that, and devoted to it.

"My names Pyrena Lehava, but feel free to
call me Rena. My first name means "fire"
and that is kinda self explanatory why I
have that one. However, the reason of
having "Lehava" as my last name takes a
bit of explanation, but it means "from the
phoenix". Put it together and you get
"Fire from the Phoenix."

"Touchy subject you picked. Well, as you
can see, a piece is missing from my ear
and guess what the best part is! It's
all ol' Jax's fault! He froze a chunk
of my ear with his ice powers and I
wasn't quick enough to melt it. Which
is kind of ironic because flames are known
to spread quickly. Anyways, that part of my
ear went to numb to feel & and Jax tried to fix
it, but ended up slicing that part of my ear off."

P e r s o n a l i t y :
Violent | Determined | Insecure

Brisingr is rather violent, to be honest. It kind of has
to do with her past, and what she actually feels inside.
She doesn't mean to be....all the time....but sometimes
she just is. Sometimes something inside her makes her
feel the urge to go out and....well, hurt something.

Why?

Well no one can stay. If she were human, she would prob-
ably even go to a mental institute. But, as you may have
read in the ''Gender" section, she has this thing.

Where she wouldn't hesitate to kill you.

Secondly, she is determined. Sometimes she will get a little
to determined, and stubborn, so she won't go down without
a fight. This will, later, also explain the cuts on her ears.

Brisingr won't stop until she reaches her goal. Sometimes it
nearly kills her, and other times it makes others mad at her.

Lastly, Brisingr is......insecure. She did have a hard past, and
she doesn't feel the same anymore. She used to be a nice girl,
but then Jax was born. Her whole family changed. She knows
it isn't his fault, but being a big sister it's only natural to blame
it on him.

B r i s i n g r ' s -- S c a r s :
This is a rather long story, to be honest. <3

When Brisingr was first born, she was always a
little quieter that the other pups. Even around her
parents and friends, she was near silent. Selectively
mute, you could say.

It wasn't until a couple years later when her brother
was born that she started to get the way she is now.
Her parents, like is normal when you have a second child,
seemed to spend less time with their daughter to make
sure their little one stayed strong and healthy.

Brisingr started to feel a little left out. On the bright side,
she was able to do things she would normally get yelled at
for, but if she got caught, for some reason her parents always
pulled the argument of 'What if Jax had gotten hurt?"

Years passed, and every day Brisingr seemed to get more
and more anti-social. She started to find it harder to control
her feelings. This included wanting to burn everything in sight,
and even crying silently at night for really no reason.

Hormones, gotta love 'em.

Before you knew it, Brisingr and Jax were in their teen years.
The stage of rebellion, in Brisingr's eyes. She loved getting into
trouble now, especially since she'd most likely get off it easy.

Of course, in the few years when she had been trying to avoid
her little brother, Jax had made a few friends, and Brisingr had
as well. Jax's probably a little better than his sister's.

To put it simply, Brisingr was hanging with the wrong crowd.
She knew it, and she didn't care. She just wanted to get away
from her brother, in any and every way possible.

One day, she was about to go cause some mischief with her
'friends', when Jax asked to come with her. As you may know,
little siblings try doing everything you do, and going everywhere
as well.

She tried telling him no, but her parents made her let him go.
She was rather snappy that day, but the minute the four friends,
Brisingr, and Jax, were about to do what they were going to...

....One of Brisingr's 'friends' shoved the young female against a wall.

She growled, and even tried lighting her paws on fire, but the hit
had knocked most the air out of her. Paws against throat, she was being
choked, too.

"Get off!~" She growled, well, the best she could anyway. Her
friends just snickered. "You know we never really liked you."
The male holding her against the wall told her. "You've just
been setting yourself up this whole time."

Jax lay, crouched in a corner. "Get away from her..." He told
them, rather quietly. The Runners watching just snickered.
"Aw, look Bris, you're brothers trying to help. And we all know
what happens when people interfear, don't we?"

Brisingr was scared. Not only about her own life, but the fact her
parents would blame her if Jax got hurt. "I said get off of her!" She
heard him say once more, louder this time.

Brisingr tried to growl at him to stop, but he didn't give her time.
Lunging at her attacker, she felt her self able to breath again,
but soon after she hit the hard ground. She whimpered, it hurt.

Next thing she saw, it was Jax and the much larger Runner fighting.
Jax, quiet honestly, didn't look hurt that bad. Instead, he was using
his power of snow to his advantage.

Then she heard a painful yelp.

She tried standing up, but it was no use. She was to weak at the time.
All she could do was look at Jax, laying on the ground. There was
no blood, thank God, but...
She saw him blink.

Letting out a sigh of relief, Brisingr calmed herself down.
It wasn't long before she felt sharp claws rake across her side.
"He left you to die." She heard one of her so called 'friends' say.
"Running home to mommy, I would assume." Now, he was scratching
at her ears. She couldn't see Jax, she wasn't even sure if this guy
was lying or not. All she could smell was her own blood, and the
stinky breath of her attacker.

She woke up the next morning, and swore to never go home. Now she
lives on her own, a traveler, she's always on the move.

N a m e :
Brisingr
This lovely girl s name, if I Won, would be
Brisingr.

Brisingr, as far as I know, has no actual meaning. But,
It IS the name of the third book in 'the Inheritance cycle"
(Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance), a book series
By Christopher Paolini.

Brisingr is also the word for 'fire' in the series. It is part of
The 'ancient language' the elves in the books use, and it's also a spell for
'Fire'. I thought it it perfectly. :3

I know we can't really change this...
But in my eyes, Brisingr is a complete female anyways. ❤

In fact.....it you mistook Brisingr as a male, she might
just separate your body from your head....So I would

relationship with Jax; "Well, please don't tell anyone this, but he's pretty cute! I mean, I know we are of opposite elements, but... He's just so nice! We're friends for sure- at least that's what I think. I mean, I can't read my mind, so I don't know if he likes me or not. But all I know is that I think of him as a friend and have a crush on him. I just am a bit scared of him because if we ever get in a bad fight... One of us will be KILLED. No doubt, if we use our elements against one another!!!"

personality; Amber is one, well, one fiery girl!!! She's energetic, and a real sweetie. Although, after a few hours or so of going crazy, like a flame she will burn out. Every once in a while she needs her naps, but then she gets up again, all happy and energetic again! This beauty always helps out her friends with anything, even if they claim they don't need help but are super frustrated. ESPECIALLY WITH BULLIES!!! She always puts others before herself, but can get slightly hot-headed. Amber gets a bit mad if others ignore her or are mean to her, but can quickly warm up to them again if they have good, real reason for that. 'I used a Q-tip and it messed up my ears this morning' does not qualify. Honestly, it's hard to explain Amber Scarlett's personality. It truly all depends on the day you catch her, what time of day you catch her, why, and what she was doing, who she was talking to. But, I'll say this to make it quick; she's fiery, energetic, needs her naps, slightly hyper, kind, slightly hot-headed sometimes, rather easily made mad, hates being ignored or bullied, and changes a lot. "Okay, here goes. So, one day, on the planet Zorra, I saw Jax Frost- and it looked like another creature on our planet was threatening him. Just as it was about to slash him, I jumped in front of him, and instead the creature cut my left ear badly. It bled, but I still attacked the creature, snarling, snapping, biting, clawing... Everything I could. And let me tell you, if I didn't jump in front of Jax, his eye would have been slashed out, and his ear badly damaged. The creature, now bleeeding worse than I, cut my ear yet again, but then I realized that if I harmed an area that would have made anyone retreat, this beast would! And so, just as it's claws cut my right ear, then giving them a cut, I ran up it's arm, onto it's shoulder, and on the top of it's head. I clawed it's eye as far and hard as I could, making it screech and ran so fast I flew off. Story done. The end. El final. Okay, so maybe that wasn't so long. And trust me- i didn't try to make myself sound so heroic by not talking about Jax, I just wasn't really watching him."
