My overall plan for this stallion is to make him a show jumper or a cross country. He looks
perfect for that position his long legs and perfect size. I will using some training techniques
that they use but only a view not all of them. I will be using a bit bridle on this gelding. He
will also be put in a stall with a broke horse for a couple nights. He will be kept in a small
circular pen with me watching him and interacting with him till I feel he is ready to be put
in the pasture with the other horses.

A red ford truck pulled up the dirt road to the stable. It had a trailer was hooked
to the back of it. The truck stopped infront of the riding pen where Ray and the other
where riding there horses. When the truck stop they gathered at the fence near the
truck. Ray got off her bay mare Freedom and walked over to the man in the truck.
He stepped out wearing his red plaid shirt, jeans, and boots that were just above
his ankles. Ray greeted him and they walked to the back of the trailer. Ray couldn't
wait t see the horse they got from the Mustang Makeover this year. The man let the
trailer door down and the horse ran into the circular pen. He neighed and kicked trying
to find a way out. Soon he figured out he was stuck. The gelding soon calmed down after
a couple of minutes. Ray slowly approached the gelding. He snorted and backed away. Ray
moved slowly forward again reaching her arm out. Ray slowly touched his nose. He snorted
and shook his head at the flies. Ray walked closer putting her whole hand on him. He looked
at her and moved a leg like he was going to move but relized she hid a apple behind her back.
He nudged Ray's hand and snorted. Ray laughed and handed him the apple. He ate it and ran off.
Ray stepped out of the pen and went back to the riders who all where watching the mustang. Ray
jumped on her horse and smiled. She patted her horse and they trotted off.

5:30-Fed and watered him
6:00-More bonding work petting and treating
6:30-Working on going around sides and jumping beside him
7:00-Introducing the halter
7:30-Trying to put halter on
8:30-Getting lead on
9:00-Leading around
10:00-Petting and treating
10:30-Trailer work
11:00-Lunch break
12:00-Introduces a horse
12:30-Introduce saddle
1:00-Cleaned up for the day
2:00-Tried to brush him
3:00-Left him in the circular pen

The next day seemed to come very quick. Ray was woke up by here alarm at five in the morning. She rolled out of bed, got dressed, and ate breakfast. After breakfast Ray walked outside seeing Ranger running around in the pen snorting. She walked over to him and grabbed the hose and began to fill his water bucket. She ran to the barn and grab hay and oats. She put them in his food bucket and removed the hose from the water bucket then turned it off. She yawned and watched him finish his breakfast. When he finished it was already six o'clock. Ray stood up and entered the pen. Ranger snorted an looked at her. Ray walked towards him putting out her hand. Ranger stood still allowing Ray to pet him. Ranger shook his head at the annoying flies. Ray gave him a apple and worked more. When the clock hit six thirty Ray decided to do something else. She started walking from side to side. Every once in a while she would stand on a side put her hand on him and jump. This made him a little scared but about the fifth time he got used to it.

Seven rolled around faster then it seemed. Ray decided she would introduce the halter to Ranger. It spooked him. A wired thing going on his head. He snorted and backed up every time she neared him with the halter. Ray had to offer a apple to get him close to it. Thirty minutes later Ray decided to try to put it on Ranger. She held out a apple. Ranger took it while Ray slipped the first part over his nose. He backed away and snorted. Ray took a sugar cube out and held it to him. After repeating these steps she finally got it on him. He bucked from the feeling of the halter and the bit. Ranger ran around shaking his head and kicking his legs. Ray soon calmed him down with another sugar cube. Ranger watched as Ray attached a lead to him then pulled him one way. He felt the jerk and jerked back thinking it was a game. Ray begin to walk while pulling him. Ranger snorted and began shaking his head. Ray looked at him,"Ranger come here,"she said to the horse. He just looked at her. Ray pulled again. Ranger made a choice that it wasn't a game. Ray led him around the circular pen as he follow. The clock hit ten and Ray decided to do some petting and a little treating. She placed her hand on his face and petted him telling him he was a good boy. After about thirty minute the team moved on to trailer work. They walked in and out of the trailer. Ranger pulled back the first time but soon got used to going in and out of the trailer in a ordinary fashion. Ray slipped out of the pen at eleven. She ate her lunch and went to get her horse Freedom. She led Freedom to the pen put did not let her in. Ranger slowly walked over to the mare. He neighed at her but Freedom just looked at him. When Ranger lost intress in her and Ray moved on bringing out the saddle. She sat it on the ground and let Ranger sniff it and try to figure out what it was. Ray watched him for thirty minutes. Ray decided to clean up for the day. After cleaning up she went to brush Ranger. He did not like the brush. He snorted and ran off. After a hour Ray decided that she brushed him good enough. She exited the pen an walked off waving bye to Ranger for the day.
