What are Emyriches?

Emyriches are large docile creatures that inhabit the large, mystical island of Emyr. They emerge from their leafy lairs at dusk and are active for most of the night and morning. A colony of Emyriches is a tightly knit community, mostly consisting of a couple families. They are very social but completely silent as they lack mouths. They communicate through the bells on their tails which are also completely silent to the average human ear. The Emyriches pick up these signals through their large rabbit like ears and then respond is necessary. How do they eat? Well, they use the colorful pads on their feet to absorb nutrients from plants. This doesn’t harm the plant.
They are the size of a small horse when full grown. Females are slightly taller than males and are usually the ones that lead the colonies. Males mark territories and guard if they have to. Their only means of self defense are their size and small claws on their hind feet.
Cubs are born without a bell, causing them to be mute for the first few months. At two years old, a cub will receive a wrap. This wrap will be their first and probably last. The parent either makes it or hires someone to. This band displays the cubs personality and where they stand in the colony. Females wear them on one of their front legs and males on one of the back. The wraps can be vibrantly colored and intricate but usually match the eyes and paw pads of the cub. They stand out from the naturally colored coat of the Emyrich.

Personality: Ituri is generally extremely calm and reserved for her age, not being very excitable and keeping mostly to herself. She likes the quiet of night, and will spend most of her time alone and watching the stars shift across the sky. Due to her quiet nature, she has conflicted feelings about receiving a bell. She believes that silence is better than saying anything, and doesn't like the sharp sounds the others' bells make when rung... That being said, she doesn't actually like to do very much with other Emyriches. If they are quiet and nice enough, she might warm up to them, and might even point out a few of her home-made constellations in the sky.

Dream/wish: Ituri wishes that she could turn invisible sometimes. She knows it's childish, but seeing as she is still a child, she's fine with having a childishly impossible wish, and will wish upon each and every shooting star she sees. She keeps hoping for this because it would make avoiding others much easier. Maybe then they would stop bugging her and making such loud noises with their bells all the time...

Dahlia is very independent, wanting to do things on her own and never admitting she needs help... However, she does realize that at times help is needed and though it is like pulling teeth when it comes to getting help, at times she will do so. She is intelligent, and cunning, always calculating how certain things would be beneficial to her, and what could completely ruin something. She enjoys just stopping and smelling the roses as the saying goes, and tries to live each day to its fullest. One of her favorite things in life, and the code she lives by, is that you never know when tragedy may strike, so live each day to its potential. When out among others she is very refined and doesn't like to show much emotion, using a poker face almost all the time. She speaks only when spoken to, and doesn't ever offer her opinion, which is what she believes a 'Lady' does. Deep down Dahlia has a very sweet heart, and yearns for someone who will love her for her, who she can be herself in front of all the time.
Dream/wish:
In all honesty, she doesn't have just one wish but if she had to pick just one, it would be the one where she could have a friend that would stick with her through everything and through thick and thin. She would like someone loyal to her and to trust her when times seem down. That is her ultimate wish, a friend.

Orion's biggest wish (although he has many) Is to be hung up in the stars. To be remembered. Not super popular and all that, but just knowing the feeling that people would remember him is his greatest wish.
