Personlity:
Darling is well, darling. She's a majestic, beautiful, sophisticated mare, with a charming side to her. When trouble strikes, she's not afraid to pipe up, but doesn't like to start any conflict. But when pressure comes, she caves. With a cute, spunky attitude that can change in an instant, Darling is quite a confusing girl.
Short Story:
The jerk of the bridle, the dust spreading around, Darling turned around the barrel at breakneck speed. It teetered for a moment, before regaining it's exact placement. She could feel her rider tense up, seeing the almost falling barrel, that could've disqualified them from championships. Darling then made the final turn, sprinting toward the gate, as they crossed the finish line. The crowd clapped, as they turned up second, still qualified for finals, but running behind the current championship winner holder for three years ; Magic. He had won the championships three years in a row with his girl, proudly holding the top spot so far. Darling felt the pressure... Could she beat him? There was only one way to find out.
There where six horses in championships. Two where disqualified for knocking down barrels, and one refused to start the course. The order went - the remaining horse ; Lilac, Magic, then Darling. Lilac, a quarter horse, made an okay time, but nothing compared to Magic. Magic whiz zed threw it, ranking in an amazing time. Darling was put on the spot, as she was clicked to the gate. The buzzer rang, as Darling launched off the line, directed toward the first barrel. Her muscles tensed, as she twirled around it with ease, then galloped to the next barrel. The bridle jerked, as her body followed, dust flying behind her. The last barrel. Her muscles pumped as hard as ever, as they turned around it, careful not to turn it over. Then Darling sprinted back down the final stretch, as she heard people cheer as they crossed the line. "Darling! We won!" Her handler joyously yelled, rubbing her neck. Darling had just won, and beat Magic altogether. Darling was so happy. c:
The End!
