Short Story: I strode out to the paddock, where my horses were dozing in the mid-day sun. Campa's bright brown eyes gleamed as I hooked a lead rope to her halter. I led her to the cross ties, and tacked her up with western tack. I pulled myself in the saddle and set off for the large cow pasture. Some ranchers wanted about 50 cattle to supplement their herd. Loping out to where the brown, white, and black masses were huddled I surveyed the herd. Campa neighed and we started out, culling about 10 cattle at a time from the group. Campa expertly maneuvered them into a round pen. Once we were done, I noticed the ranchers watching. We rode up to them, Campa still energetic. One of the farmers squinted against the sun, examining Campa. "How much will you take for her?' he asked. A bit shocked, I replied "Nothing. She's too amazing". The rancher smiled and counted out the bills for the fifty. As they loaded the cattle in, I leaned against Campa. "No one will ever replace you" I whispered to her, and she nickered softly back.
What Type of mount is she? Campa is calm and sturdy, always keeping her head.
