Personality: He is usually quiet and self-conscious. Sometimes shy but when I bring out the food he cautiously swims toward me and starts to loosen up. He is demure and not very adventurous. Yes you can say he is lazy but that's your opinion he is actually hiding from the frightful hands that might hurt him. Even though his fins are cut out he spends time practicing to swim and hold his breath long enough just like a fish would. He is simple and not very complicated to handle. Just give him a neat home and some food and he'll love u forever!. Overall, He is a very charming fish and i would love to have him.

Bartholomew is a rather homely character. Complacent, even. He absolutely loves routines, and the organization it brings. Although I wouldn't exactly say that he loves the organization itself, but the simplicity it brings to his life. He isn't the type to take any risks or add very much spice to his life (unless it's planned and expected of course). After all, he's never really needed to nor has the thought of ever altering his precious routine ever crossed his mind. If you ask him, he'll say that, "It isn't that I'm scared of the unknown, I just prefer to keep things the way they are. After all you shouldn't fix something if it isn't broken!" But really, who are we kidding? He's always been a little nervous of trying new things. In that sense, he could be considered a little stubborn (that, I can agree with of course). But don't get me wrong, it's not that he's particularly daft or uptight: it's just that he is -as I said- a simple, and of course, homely little lad.
