What is a hover fox?
Hover foxes are cuddly, adorable fox hybrids with unusually large furry ears. As infants they are born with very small, proportionate ears, but as they reach childhood, those ears grow so large they can use them to hover a little bit above the ground and glide short distances. Of course, that can't last and by the time they reach adulthood they do grow into their ears a bit and are no longer able to use them for 'flight'. Their diet consists of seafood and different types of sweet and sour fruit, depending on their taste preference and where they live. Most HFs grow to be the size of a red fox, though you'll occasionally get some that are larger.

It had been a strange evening to say the least. You'd been sitting at home in the middle of spring, enjoying the green of the grass when it began to snow. Large, wet flakes clumped onto the lawn and sidewalks, quickly covering your yard in the white stuff. Somewhat confused, you wander outside, only to realize that the temperature had dropped drastically since you'd gotten home. As you turn to walk back into the house, shivering due to your lack of warm clothing, you spot something trudging through the snow toward you.
With a brightness in its eyes that could rival the sun, the small hover fox comes completely into view. His fur is completely snow-packed and he's quivering, obviously not used to the cold weather. He has no tags and you wonder momentarily if he's wild. Yet he approaches you without fear, eyes pleading for the warmth of a house.
Why not offer him a place to stay with you?

Tate flapped his ears momentarily, attempting to brush away the snowflakes that covered his fur and warm up. But he had no avail. The hover fox let out a small, 'Humph,' giving up and flopping down in the snow. His owner didn't mind if he was out playing in the snow, although he would need to be dried off as soon as he was finished. Putting his worries beside, Tate let out a happy chirrup, and began rolling around in the snow. He heard a giggle from his owner, who was making a snowman, and rolled onto his stomach. Waving his tail in the air, the Hoverfox smiled like a big goof, and charged at the snowman. In a moment, snow blasted up into the air, along with the snowman's previous body-parts. Tate could be seen flopping around, with a carrot in his mouth and a top-hat draped over his eyes. And this, my friends, is how Tate acts on a daily basis of play.

Dridrien looked around, and happily spotted another HF. He ran up to her and immediately soaked her green, yellow, and white fur in white and brown cuddles. (Lyrica. :3) After warming up, Dridrien ran back outside with my other Hover Fox, each splashing the other with pawfuls and earfuls of snow.
